Collis is out for at least 6 weeks.
Give Owen another go on the wing, he's only been here a fortnight, most of the team have been here longer and looked no better.
Got to go back to Mathers at FB, even for all his failings, at least it free's up Sammut to move into halves.
Play Godinet SH to have the theat of interceptions and break opposition play up.

| By the time Agar realises Godinet/Sammut are the half backs and McShane/Wildies are the hookers. it'll all be over.

These two combinations work for 3 games and not much else has worked since.

| I disagree re Owens, looked uninterested and uncommitted, if he doesn't want to play for us send him back. At least Foxy cane in looking for the ball. Surely bring back the Godinet and Sammut partnership, Mathers useless on the wing and does less damage at full back. Godinet looks to have had his attacking flare coached out of him and is now used as a tackling machine.
A small point but it demonstrates the poor coaching and poor football brain. Warrington restarted twice and twice put it along the ground, causing us problems on a wet zippy surface. Every restart we did (except the one that went out on the full) landed on the same inch of turf each half. Very poor.
55m out, last tackle, try. Enough said.

| Even if you put Sykes in the halves I'm sure our defence will make him look like Cooper Cronk!

| And I'm sure a lot of our negative fans would say similar of your halves!!
That said, I thought Ratchford was absolute class for Warrington today....tore us apart.....you aint got a Ratchford have ya!!
Think there is a case for Sammut to play halfback in such a huge game....would also like to see a front row of Moore, McShane and Raleigh to start.....2 props both capable of very quick play the balls....something we are not getting at the moment....we are getting so easily dominated in the tackle it's impossible to get any decent go forward...
We need the platform laid early for me....

| Team for me should be our best half backs so far this year, our best impactive props with Tautai at loose forward where he was really good at the start of the season. Plus three props on the bench to ensure we dominate as much as possible in the middle.
Mathers
Owen
Sykes
Walshaw
Riley
Sammut
Godinet
Anderson
McShane
Moore
Kirmond
Ryan
Tautai (please be fit to play.... )
Subs. Scruton, Smith, Raleigh and Siejka.

| Surely half way through the season Agar has finished tinkering around with his selections, therefore injuries aside, he’ll go with the same half back pairing.
Our win ratio against Bradford is truly woeful, & by this time next week I don’t see any cause for this to change.
Followed by the same old threads of bad coach & uninterested players with the point’s deduction decision imminent, & the realisation of dread looming.
I shouldn’t really be posting such a gloomy view, however, I didn’t realise the word realism now had such a negative connotation.

Agree with plenty of this, I don't understand why Sykes isn't at centre! Strong, decent runner, reasonable hands, kicking option. Lost his edge as a stand off but worked well with Tim Smith. Sammut offers a lot more at stand off, Mathers at fullback, a poor game today but he's no winger he's an experienced full back, faults and all. Godinet at scrum half. Two wingers playing on the wings. Mcshane back, thought we really missed him today. Would also like to see Chris Anakin in instead of Siejka. It's going to be won in the forwards, doing the simple things, forwards running onto the ball, tackling one up one down, completed sets and less silly pentalties. Loved to see Tautai back need to attacking in the forwards.

| I know Mathers is an easy target but most of the breaks and tries came from the Walshaw, Owen side of the field. I know that Walshaw showed a lot of strength to score but I am still to see him pass. He has so far got away with this trait but it will at some point come back to haunt us.

I stopped going to Bradford quite a few years ago based on our horrendous displays there.

Mathers was directly at fault for at least 2 tries if not 3 and that includes the very first try when he chose to put himself in no mans land rather than face up to a 1on1 with Atkins.
