I think it's less of a problem with Sammut's conversion rate at present. Sykes was missing them when they were along side the posts!
Always better to get behind the sticks but having a reliable goal kicker is what makes the difference in many a tight game.

If you look at his other try he did go towards the sticks probs thought as we all did at the time "the game is won all bar the shouting".

To be fair to Godinet he'd run a long way for that try and a Catalans defender was pushing him out wide to the sidelines. Am just happy he scored it in the end, he deserved it. And as has been mentioned above, Sammut's goal kicking is superb.

I thought he might have got a point in this mornings RLE but John Davidson awarded Elliot Whitehead. Still it will keep them all happy.

The show n go through the gap for his try was top notch.

He was outstanding yesterday and seemed to really enjoy it when he realised he has his own song.

I love that interception thing - as Poptart says, it's not a long pass job, he takes it right out of their hands; fantastic reflexes. And the try when he ghosted through the line was just sublime - I love a bit of biff and barge, but when a top class half turns on the silky skills, it's a joy to watch.

Pita looks like an outstanding signing; although the bloke stood behind me was convinced that he's "too small." Shame.

I like how he tries to take on he opposition line. Like for his try against Catalans. A neat player. He likes the name chanting, but who wouldn't! Stuff like that will make him feel right at home.

Seems to have a bit of a Thurston style of play and makes it look easy. If hes only half as good will do for me.
