Really/ It surprises me that we made such a big deal about keeping him and then let him go straight away.
I hope not as that would start a rush. I reckon the others would follow Kirmond's lead.

Disappointed if true but can't expect the offers for players to be available for ever! So suppose we will have to take more if they are good enough
Also don't want the club to leave players high and dry if we can't get the shortfall plugged with investment
