Just heard that Davide will be leaving the club today and just wanted to say thanks Davide for all you've done over the years.

Do we know where he is heading?

Had a quick chat with him a few months ago and he was downbeat & said things were extremely tough.

Definitely true it came from Davide himself but don't know what he's doing next may be taking some time out

Big blow. I guess with Elston being demoted he is now doing Davides job. I know i'd have kept out of the two.

Massive loss is Davide, a fantastic servant to the Club over many years, leading force in the Community Trust, what a bummer, things must be at an all time low at the Club for Dav to leave, he is unlike the rest of them at Wakefield, he is Wakefield through and through, and being surrounded by people who are either pants at what they do, or have no interest in Wakefield must have been the final straw.

Every position in the Club is filled with non Wakefield supporting people, PPM, Head of Youth, Coach, Assistant Coach, 19's Coach, Marketing, etc., the list goes on, now we loose the one true Wakefield fan.

Look at Cas , Cas lad Head coach, Cas Lad Assistant, Cas Lad Head of Youth, Cas lad CEO, Chairman Cas fan, GB International as PPM, Cas Lad marketing manager, all 16's and 19's coaches are Cas lads, keep local, get loyalty, and commitment, maybe not success, but at least they will give their all.

Good luck Davi, thanks for all the years of tireless work for the kids and supporters of Wakefield, where ever you are going, I am sure they are fortunate to secure your services.

We're not Cas and there might not be people to fill those positons..
Feel sorry for Davide probably though 'fans' were giving him stick slagging him off etc, best of luck to him in the future.

No, we are not Castleford. I seem to recall they are in a bit of a financial mess too and have also lost their playmaker next year. It's tough out there.

he told me Monday he was leaving and said the reasons would come out in wash!! he was still fighting passionately for club tho and told me mr carter and his other one chris ? sorry can't remember surname are the right men for job and if anyone can get us out of this mess they can, we had a very frank n honest chat and davide is very despondent bout state of affairs at Wakefield he did say tho he will be buying a season ticket for next year and standing on terraces , good luck davide I do genuinely think you care and one of the good guys left and hope your new venture whatever it is is successful ,
