With all the rumours going round surrounding our finance situation , and with Glover continuously stating we are fine, why has he set up another company called wakefield trinity wildcats on June 11th from a East Midlands address ?? Spirit is just short of 1m in debt , a pre-pack and admin looks to be on the cards unless rl block it happening. Thoughts????

A newly registered poster said that a new company called JEAGFC was set up a few weeks back.

That poster (jeagfc) set up the account to post this info and has not visited us since.

The RFL may or may not be able to stop it happening but i'm sure they are trying to avoid it.

Could well be when the split for the 12 team comes we've made it easy for the RFL.

Wouldn't it be better to bite the bullet and go into admin now and have the points deducted this year instead of next year when relegation is involved?? Wouldn't that mean glover and elston could no longer be in charge as new owners would need to be inplace ???

Glover might be waiting to see how much money comes from the Leeds and Bradford game to pay people money.

Isn't this a nothing story until something happens. The only good it does is fill column inches and give ammonia to use against the club. Pointless and unhelpful when the club is trying to get more sponsorship and sign players at this moment in time.

But don't you think people want to know what's going on behind the smoke screen ????

The club must be absolutely desperate for the arrival of a decent home game. How long has it been since we had a decent away crowd or a game that appealed to walk-up full paying floaters. Last few home games: Widnes (Mon night TV), London, Catalan, Hemel!!!
Hopefully the influx of some season ticket money will have helped a bit.

I'm sure Leeds were pleased to get an 18k+ home crowd after 3 games on the road.

Most people just want us to have a good win against Leeds next Friday and leave what's out of our control to the suits.

Can't help but think that the financial state of clubs in professional rugby league is a total joke.
The respective owners should have their heads banged together.
It's all about survival of this fittest and without a BIG sugar daddy willing to put substantial sums of his own money in then the smaller clubs such as ours have no chance. I don't mean loan the money I really mean give it. Even with a full Newmarket, whenever that happens we will find it hard to compete with the likes of Wigan and Leeds.
I am a little tired of the situation at Wakefield and I honestly think if the club do go into administration again, then I'm done with it.

We need everyone to get behind the club and turn Belle Vue into a capacity crowd next Friday and let the team hear how much this club means to the fans. Rumour such as this does not help. This is a great club and we have a good competitive team with the limited finances we have pushing the Super League champions all the way last night but also in the play offs last year.

Together we are stronger....
