You can put your house on the segregation being back after tonight. Don't know who was to blame and don't care, it's not something that should ever be seen at Rugby League games.

Catch 22. Without the beer sales we'd be even skinter. It's a shame some spoil it for others by not being able to behave. Sure it looked fantastic on telly.

Its not the beer thats the problem if it was you would have some mass brawls with the amount of fans who like a beer when watching the game.Why should some fans not be able to have a jar or two because of a few idiots that cant take it.Dont ban the beer ban those who cause the trouble for life and use the full power of the law on them.

Think the beer damage was done outside the ground. The segregation debate about tonight, is that there was a decent group of vocal Chemics, on the Western Terrace. Would it have been seen a aggressive to over steward them, or let them enjoy the game and hopefully let them drift off home?

The problem is the idiots who have ten pints and think they rule the world. Take exceptiom to everyhing and generally want to play the hard man. Discgraceful scene last night ban all the people who can be identified from all rugby league grounds we dont need louts like that in the game. Has crept in last few years think its because people cant afford the football where these scenes are a regular occurance outside grounds so they are coming to rugby. By all means come watch the game but leave your alcohol fuelled nastiness behind we dont need it in rugby league

I don't think that's true at all. I've been going to watch Leeds United for a number of years, home and away, who are notoriously bad fans and hardly seen any trouble at all. It is coming into rugby more and more but I don't think it's fair to blame football supporters.

Regarding segregation it really does need to be sorted. There were a handful of Widnes fans in the North Stand who we're also looking for trouble and a few got kicked out just before the main trouble in the west stand

Do you think it could be people who don't usually go to RL games who might have been tempted by the discounted ticket offer? We had a so-called Cas fan banned recently for throwing a plastic bottle who shouldn't have been in the new members area. It turned out he had been given a ticket by a mate that wasn't his so shouldn't have been in there in the first place. If your members stand is policed correctly these problems should be ironed out given time.

It was a few idiots from both sides, been going to bv for 30 odd years and not seen owt like that. Was talking to the 20 or so widnes fans before game and they were sound. Takes two to tango - blame on both sides to me. The most fat and unfit stewards ever didn't help either. Was like sumo wrestling at one point.
