| Feel sorry for Bradford fans but this is another week of Admin and they still have kept all their players, thanks to RFL paying there wages its a joke. We were stripped to the bare bones at the very least they have to let some players leave. They cannot depend on the RFL FOR EVER !

| Don't hold your breath, the RFL will keep paying until they eventually get bought.

There needs to be some equality with how SL clubs are treated by the RFL. The writing must have been on the wall last year but was ignored because it was a big club like Bradford and other smaller unfashionable less successful clubs like WTW and Crusaders were already struggling. Think with the amount of significant financial support they've already had they should be showing some sacrifices with Batemen, Manuokafoa, Burgess & Hargreaves allowed to be sold on to pay off some of the massive debt like Wakefield were forced to do. They would still have a quality team if these 4 were sold on.

| Once again the RFL show they don't have a clue and this is why super league is destined to fail and the Championship will once again be the premier league.

| Quite agree! The RFL are getting on quite a few supporters nerves I think. They don't have a structured vision for the game, they supposedly had one but Im afraid they seem to have lost the plot, someone needs to get a grip.

| I think its the administator that is keeping hold of the players, while ever there is a prospect of a buyer they will keep the players until they atleast stop paying there wages, just makes the club more buyerable, when this consortium decides to pull out that is when the players will go.

| Seeing as the RFL have invested in the iconic Odsal are we actually surprised?
The game is a farce, the sport is brilliant but it is just being run in a bizzare fashion, RFL kissers may think differently but it beggars belief to think how incompetent the RFL are. I am slowly losing interest in Super League altogether.
No rules about ineligible players in the Challenge Cup, the Wigan points deduction / Salary Cap farce, Crusaders, no sponsorship money this season, buying the lease on Odsal, franchising blah blah blah, how boring. Bradford Bulls seem to do as they please because they dug themselves a massive hole and the RFL are bricking it, even the Leeds Rhinos (their biggest rivals) are bailing them out with charity donations At least Andrew Glover bought the club fearing that we may slip into the Champo.
What do Wakefield have to play for this season now? Nothing, boring. Its just not the same anymore, I know the stadium news is great for the club, but I will miss Belle Vue immensely when we finally do leave, I wish we could stay there.
Rant Over :bigsigh:

| The administrator is in charge of the club and he decides if any players are sold.. not the RFL. If he feels the best chance of getting a buying means holding off selling the crown jewels then that's a good thing surely? I'm sure everyone on here is very keen to see a buyer emerge as soon as possible..
The RFL have so far only advanced money that we would receive in the very near future anyway. I'm pretty sure this is something they have done previously for other clubs as well, perhaps even Wakefield at some point.

| I have sympathy still with the bulls fans but the way the admin is transpiring smacks of rfl bending backwards a little.
The wages were not sustainable in relation to the income and are still not yet it seems the bulls playing roster is being looked after.
If a buyer is interested it will not/should not burn the interest on the loss of a few players to bring down the wages. It is what's required in some respects to atleast run closer to a break even figure and pay off owed monies.
Should be equality for all clubs and it doesn't appear so.

Not if you have been living beyond your means for the best part of a decade winning stuff due to the size of your overdraft. No sympathy. Sell your top earners, start again. The only downside will be the incesent fawning over the Bulls corpse by Eddie and Stevo. Like Lazarus you will rise again but have to put up with a few years of mediocrity.
Please get on with it.

The £1.25M they paid for Odsal must have slipped your mind then! My guess is that they will sell it back to the new owners at the same amount with few barriers to stopping them moving to another stadium and developing it.

| The thing is if Bulls are getting money which due to anyway which is fair enough then the new owners are on to a loser straight away as the funds are being squandered away while in admin. Are the administrators charging taking a fee as well as they need to earn a living. Read in express today that the RFL knocked back first offer calling it unsatisfactory. More like taking the pee. These investors need to get a move on as think the RFL will run out of patience. They have good as said that bulls will exist in some form and more than likely still in superleague. If that be minus a load of points and minus loads of players i say that's fair.

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

| I read somewhere that the Sky money was due this week anyway so a one week advance is not something I'll get overly excited about.
Major difference is that the Bradford Baltis are running a team on the full salary cap, we never did. Selling players is now surely inevitable. I appreciate the administrator wants to preserve the squad to preserve the value/appeal to an investor, but there are very few family jewels left to sell. It is what administrators do - sell assets to find cash flow to keep a company going whilst a buyer is found.

| The wage bill will be massively reduced next year even if we retain SL status. We currently have 17 or so players coming off contract. I'd be surprised if we retain people like Elima for instance. The only players of any value are probably the young players like Bateman and Whitehead that we have spent a lot of time, money and effort in bringing through to 1st team. Anyone investing in the club with any sense will be looking to re-build the club around those players. If we don't get a firm offer pretty soon I expect there will be little choice but to flog the likes of Bateman and some supporters will get what they've been hoping for.

I quite agree - if I were a potential investor, I might consider that allowing monies that I could have for my newco to be spent keeping the soon to be defunct oldco afloat, was something of a false economy.
By prevaricating in this way, the RFL is allowing the interim management (the administrator) at the Bulls to continue in much the same way that the old management did - spending money they don't have.
It really is about time their hand was forced - if that means cutting their cloth to suit, then so be it; sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
