Was really impressed with the stadium today. The organisation on the car parks and within the stadium complex was excellent. Lots of staff on duty and efficient service at the bars/food outlets. The only negative for me was the cost of the food and drink, far too expensive.

Was a great day out, but not yet convinced Magic is a good concept. Sunshine was great, atmosphere was great, but not enough people stay to watch the games not involving their club. Each game was played to a nearly empty stadium. There is nothing at stake, and its almost like a novelty derby.

Time to ditch the Magic weekend.

Why would you want to ditch magic after a day like yesterday - I thought it was brilliant other than wire game which was a bit predictable, other 2 were great games. Can't wait till nxt year!

Agreed. I really look forward to the magic weekend but prefer it away so can make a weekend of it. Newcastle next please! Ground in the city centre like Cardiff and they have a team plus amateur set up already going.

Tru derby athmosphere should be created in each respective stadiums not giving monies to the already rich football clubs.......just bitter because I couldn't get there due to lad playing at BV.

I don't agree with the concept that it is the RFL who decide who plays who.

I like the Magic weekend concept and stayed for the full day yesterday. During the Hull derby I saw 3 incidents of zero tolerance stewarding which I was highly impressed with. Think we can learn a thing or two here. So much so I even expressed appreciation to the stewards at the end.

I really enjoyed the day and would be happy to be at The Etihad again. Like a comment above, it is a great shame fans don't stay for more than just their own game. If they did the ground would look fuller and there would be a better atmosphere.

I'll keep going for as long as the concept remains.

Think the games yesterday should have been at 2, 4 &6p.m. Too long between games but enjoyed it. Think the stadium was good and the stewards were more friendly towards the fans than they were in Cardiff and it's good to be home within an hour.

Agree there was too much time between yesterdays games. Timings better at kick off every 2 hours.

Yeah I was a little worried that they may have treated us like footy fans but I have to say the stewarding was first class, really helpful over some minor ticket issues with the unreserved seating and as you say, when anything did flare up during the Hull Derby, they were in and out with no fuss and sorted it.

I really hope the next one is at the Etihad as feel that the more people are exposed to the concept, the more of a success it will be when it "hits the road" again.

I have never been to the magic weekend before because the costs were, for me, prohibitive. I went yesterday because my eldest asked for it for his 16th birthday and the cost of ticket including travel from the club shop were extremely good value.

The location, stadium and stewarding were great. The prices of food and drinks within the stadium complex were expensive; however we found an Asda within 5 mins walk which, given the lengthy intervals between games, was a good option although they were not serving alcohol to anyone who looked like a rugby fan.
