| Walshaw not done anything wrong in the first team now he is rotting away in the under 20's . Trout for me is our own product but he is miles away from super league hes not big enough, hes not quick enough he isn't upto it! Walshaw at least he has the size and looks more comfortable in the first team. I know some of you don't like the truth but Trout was the next best thing how he has looked this season is below average. How did Ellis look at that age ?

| Walshaw has been injured and is getting back to fitness in the 20's. He didn't stand out in the u-20's game at the weekend either.

Yawn
Trout was never the next big thing, he's a squad player - why the need to exagerate. What is your obsession with size - don't answer that.
Ellis looked gangly at that age.

| Have to say having seen trout a few times he has some major defensive flaws to work on.
He does not bend his back and was standing in no mans land at the side of an opposition player being tackled by two of his team mates. 3rd man in round the legs, he was the 3rd man on a few occassions but didn't bend his back much vs wire.
Going forward trout looks solid. Defence (in my opinion needs some work).
Of the two walshaw I think shows the most promise so far.

Can you really say that, me personally I have not seen enough of him which is a shame because I've seen enough of some of them!

Have to say it's strange to replace your lightest prop with an even lighter one, ho hum.

| I would say Matty Wildie is wasting away in the 20's. Tried everything on Sat behind a beaten pack, hurt his shoulder but went back on the field regardless.
Should atleast be out on loan in the championship.

| Young Trout was the League Express one to watch for you guys, has he been a dissapointment then?
I saw somebody mention 5'11 & 14st, that's a bit light for a backrower these days.

The only dissapointing thing is that he has 7 mins of the first half and if he is lucky 3 mins of the second.

| Neither, Trout has a poor work ethic overall and I agree his defence can be weak, he has poor movement in defence and tackle technique could improve. Walshaw other than his size has lots of work to do on his game, positionally in attack he is weak, and again his movement in defence is poor, unless the attack run at him or close by he struggles.
If I had to choose though I would go Walshaw for his size and strength, he can pull upto 3 players in when he is carrying the ball which off the back of a quick play the ball should create gaps for us to exploit.
I have liked the look of Wildie, Slater and Anakin in the 20's each for different reasons. Wildie his attacking skills and presence of mind, Slater for his defence and his willingness to do the hard yards when needed and Anakin for his powerful runs with speed to finish if he breaks.
