| just wondering what the wildcats fans think of his appointment so far, good or bad..... just whilst having conversations with many fc fans, the main judge on agar is that he was completely out his depth at fc and in superleague....devout of ideas and a personality for a start.... in my opinion, for whatever reason he couldnt get results with a team in which he put together and was spending the full cap whilst he was coach was bordering on embarrasing......
thoughts??

| He's made a good impact here, seems to determined to develop our youth system futher. Perhaps he thought that the youth at Hull were not good enough or not ready for Super league yet.

Sounds like you have made up your mind, so our opinion is pretty pointless, as is this thread.

Probably thought they weren't good enough for super league. And without those players "well best their best" you wouldn't have made it to the play offs. FACT.

| Popular thought had Uncle Kath as pulling the strings whilst Agar was in charge.
Without interference, perhaps Agar will flourish (similarly Hull under Gentle).

| Too early to say but then again coaches have moved clubs before and been better or worse.Ask Leeds fans what they think of Dougie Laughton and then ask a Widnes fan.Two different tales if that helps you in any way.

Any proof of this? There seems to be a lot of people pulling the strings behind the scenes at Hull FC.

Could it be that at Wakefield he is allowed to sign and play the players that HE thinks are best for the club and not the board.

Its too early for us to pass judgement, but the first impressions are very good.
Between Agar and James Elston we have assembled a competetive squad, with plenty of youngsters in there and only time will tell.
Maybe your club should be looking at its own youth set up and perhaps the upper management need too have a good hard look at themselves.
Seem to remember Kear being sacked when you were in 4th or 5th because the big wigs thought you should have been doing better

My first answer is, he's great. Only a short term to judge but he's done everything I expect so far and won us a game where tactics were a key part of the win.
It doesn't bother me about Hull FC. There were a lot of reasons why Hull didn't perform to expectation and whether they were Agar's fault or not, I'm happy if he learns from them and becomes a better coach with us.
Can't understand why the Hull 'devout' followers have such an issue with him even after he has left.

As for this bit.....Danny Nicholas made his debut in 2010. Get your facts straight if you want to make a point like that.
Guess we'll see how good Hull FC are without Agar over the coming months. I'd worry about that more than Wakefield and our new coach.
