Massive full front page today on the planning inquiry "DO OR DIE" says the headline then two pages with quotes from James Elston, Rodney Walker etc etc, amazed??

Yes quite a refreshing change Wakefield Rugby league club hitting the front page. Lets hope it happens again when we get the go ahead with the Newmarket project.

circulation may go down a bit in the newmarket / methley area though........

i have not read it yet but if it puts WTW in a positive light then well done to the paper.

i e mailed the editor to complain when they printed that johnson story on the front page, and i will e mail again to recognise their support.

i would urge others to do the same.

Just read it - the whole feature is unerringly positive, with a little editorial further on that reinforces the importance of the development both to the club and in wider economic terms.

I showed my support by buying the paper, which I don't normally do.

Could we put in an objection that people in Methley shouldn't be reading a Wakefield paper? AFter all it is in Leeds afterall!!!

It doesn't take much to wind a Cas fan up, they are very delicate people at the moment.

I am expecting some anti stadium stuff as well soon. The papers do tend to offer a balanced view of things which is correct. People can then make their own opinions after being informed. Hopefully most will side with the Pro-stadium side.

Its amazing how many of the cas fans in the village are also anti newmarket
