Fresh start next year for everyone involved with Wakefield. I think now is the time for the club to write a club anthem and for us to sing on the terraces what do you think? I think its the perfect time. You play it at the start of every home game it will catch on if its catchy. Marching On together , Hi Ho silver lining, Three lions etc. Its a perfect time I had the pleasure of watching a Italian seria A match earlier in the year and they play the club anthem at the start and at the end if they win. We could get the Cribs involved they are from wakey. This is important now. It is the perfect time fresh beginnings.

Wish you'd have said sooner - I had a pizz next to them in Leicester Forest East services (northbound) last Wednesday; I could have got it all sorted.

i like the idea of us having some rousing classical music as the teams coming out like wigan/sunderland etc do. no idea on the what it should be though.

I do think we could make better use of incidental music, like some clubs do; for example, certain players with their own signature try-scoring tune (Peter Fox is an obvious one - a choice snippet from Foxy Lady would work, perhaps the bit where Hendrix goes "Oooh, Foxy".) Or maybe when a player is hurt and gets back up to continue playing, a quick blast of Chumbawamba - "I get knocked down, but I get up again!" It wouldn't take long for people to start joining in and that I guess would lift the atmosphere and give the players a bit of encouragement.

I've always thought it would give a bit of a psychological edge to play something comedic when the opposition run out - perhaps the theme tune from Steptoe and Son or something similar, to rattle them a bit.

I'm sure there are others?

Didnt we used to use the old steptoe tune back in the day...?

Never liked the music played after a try, bit too artificial for me. Having said that The Fratellis' Chelsea Dagger seemed to get the crowd going, and the Kaiser Chiefs Ruby was used well after a Jamie Rooney score.

Any how I think The Game could be adopted, perhaps we could get Lemmy down to lead the crowd.

Here's a choice from left of field; when Morrison comes off the bench and hurts the opposition: "To-Morro, To-Morro, we love you, To-Morro!"

As an added bonus, the odd show tune might draw in Wakefield's pink pound?
