What i saw of him last year with the eagles he looked a real handful, perhaps at 29? he may be a tad too old to make his mark????

| Wouldn't be a bad signing as a squad player, but i'd much rather take Karl Pryce!

| He's signed for Rovers but apparently doesn't fit in to the plans of the new coach so maybe released, so he could become available soon. Think you can do better tbh.

| We have form for giving lower league players the chance to have a crack at superleague. KR clearly saw him as an asset but the new coach doesnt see how he will figure in his style of play...
If agar sees where he could fit in with our style of play then why not give his an opportunity on a one year deal to prove his worth?

| If his career aspirations have gone from NZ Warriors to Cronulla, where he played fairly regularly, to Gateshead to Sheffield, he is going in the wrong direction for us.
I’m surprised HKR signed him but they appear to have changed their mind. We should be looking at young English talent before we go for him in my opinion. ….and if not that, we might as well have Tongia who we know and is younger.

| This is purely hypothetical, but if we are overlooking 20 year old Ryan Tongia, who has proven in flashes that he does have that extra spark in favour of 29 year old Misi Taulapapa it would be very disappointing. They can both play in similar positions, the difference being Tongia is raw, and even now looks a better player than a guy who is 9 years his senior. He has plenty of time to learn the game but what he does possess even now is the ability to do something out of the ordinary. Yes he makes mistakes, his carry is loose, his defence may not be perfect, but I would challenge he is as good as if not better than Taulapapa. Every team needs at least 1 player who can create something out of nothing. For me, Tongia is one of those players.
Ps. looking at twitter it would appear Tongia is appearing in a work out video today with a character named "FORTAFY"...

fair assessment of the situation.

Why is 'Fortafy' exposing himself? What kind of video is it exactly?

| Why on this planet would we not prefer Tongia who is early 20s and exiting in attack to talupapa who is 30 next year, played in lower league and not wanted by a mid table SL team....
