| Well done to everyone connected with the club but especially well done to Mr Glover for having the faith in something he knew relativley little about right at the start.
It can't have been easy to buy something that people consider to be a poisoned challice but he dug deep and put his hands in his pocket and well, here we are.
Also thanks to the rest of the team
James Elston
Davide Longo
Martin Hopkins
Plus anyone else I have missed ( apologies if I have missed you off. everyone has played an important part in this clubs future )
The club has turned a corner over recent months and aside from the results on the field ( where one can expect heads to drop not knowing ones future ) the club has held its own head high and they can be proud to say they are in SL for the next 3 years.
Yes, it will be tough, Yes, it will take a huge task to move us forward even further but I am confident that the right team is in place to do this.
OK John Kear will probably leave the club and we should all applaud him for what he has done here. Some will say he hasn't done much but please do not forget this chap has led the team with nothing at his disposal. He has kept fighting and I bet if you cut him in half it will say Wildcats, but times change and I think that JK will realise this.
I just hope he steps down at the end of the season and we are able to give him the send off he deserves at the last home game in September.
It is a new dawn
It is a new day
and we should all be feeling fine!!!
This is WAKEFILED
Togther. we ARE stronger
I am off now to lie down in a dark room and just breath slowly to clam down

| Suppose one could argue that yes it has been mostly talk but at least it is talk and it is something that us Fans can grab hold of.
On the other hand he has turned around lots of things behind the scenes such as getting the 1873 suite up and running. Putting bulbs into the floodlights, ensuring we have a new catering company in, making sure the club shop turns a profit, making sure the club has a good following with upbeat staff and upbeat supporters.
But then again, you are entitled to think it has all been talk!
What did you want?
top 4 finish?
cc final place?
loads of new signings?
Give the guy a break ffs.
He will deliver.
He has too much to lose.
CC Final place?

i know the reality of where we've been and i wouldn't have expected too much more from any new owner in all honesty. nobody is knocking what he has done, so chill your jets a little my angry friend.
however the wage bill has seemingly been cut since his arrival, and we have no signings for next year. all of the above (what you posted) is good stuff, but he now has to actually spend and spend big to meet the promises that were made, something he's not had to do to date, this is the first test of his financial mettle so to speak.

| Hang on a minute - I am not angry at all. I am simpy answering your post that Andrew Glover has to start to deliver.
I am not the one who said the following
Quote: state of the nation "glover has to deliver now. it's been mostly talk to date.
'"
I simpy said that he has done wonders so far for this club. He has turned around a bad situation and made us feel like we are worth something again.
By hook, or by crook we are in SL with a new franchise licence and we should be proud of that.
The fact that we have no new signings for next year is nothing to do with Andrew Glover it is merely a "state of the nation". would you sign for a club with little or no prospect of staying in SL?
Anyway, what ever happens next is now in the hands ( or wallett ) of Mr Glover who for now, can sit back, have a glass of something strong. Breathe a sigh of relief and really start to get on with the hard stuff knowing that the fans are 100% over the moon with todays outcome.

| the savings this season that many a person on here have been chastising may well become valuable extra disposable income in SUPER LEAGUE next season where we will have a fighting chance of competing with the top 8. A calculated gamble or pot luck by AG? Who cares we remain an elite club and with all promises kept one who will compete!

one of the reasons why we have suffered
the Franchise is a shame and has highlighted one club to be favorites to go down
if we don't get on with what we have announced we will suffer again

| Andrew Glover has saved the day & I am indebted to him, however, the task he now faces is daunting.
It’s one thing going to Cedar Court with plans to revamp BV, it’s another actually doing it.
God knows how much the revamp will cost, if it gets the nod from the planners, on a ground that’s owned by god knows who?
Good luck Fella.
