Well Higgins will certainly add some size, but I hope his signing is not at the expense of Gledhill. Haven't seen much of the Wire player, but a second row is not a priority. |

Gledhill isn't ready IMHO. Apart from his debut game he has struggled. I think he is still a bit raw boned for now and needs a stone in weight adding. He will be a good one I'm sure but I don't think he offers that much just yet. |

I would expect Higgins to go okay for you. He's by no means a world beater, but an honest and hardworking player.

Not sure Higgins is what we are after. If he was good enough i am sure another SL club would have picked him up in the summer as opposed to him dropping into the championship.

I understand where you are coming from but arguably Ricky Bibey could of still been doing the job for us in SL but because of other interests 'dropped' down into the Championship. |

Well every body i talk to can not understand the reason Ben is not playing, dont you think the lad will get better with more game time. |

McCarthy is a good player he couldn't commit to full time SL for a few years as he wanted to finish his sports degree at Edge Hill (he got a 2:1) he's played 8 SL games for Warrington (4 - 2009, 3 - 2010, 1 - 2011) and the Challenge Cup final in 2009.
Been going well for Leigh last year and again this year on dual registration as well as sometimes playing U20's for us, he scored 2 tries for Leigh yesterday as well. Glad that he's going to get some SL level experience though.
