Mr Glover could you please tell us what is going on?

Specifically, can you formally state:

1. Why you are not currently in ownership of the club when on Friday you announced that you had bought the club?

2. Will you see through this transaction? If so, on what timescale and what are the hold ups?

3. Do you know why the RFL have yet to complete the fit and proper test? When are they likely to do this?

As a lifelong fan I am like many horrified at what is happening with our club. I don't take kindly to statements through the club website that someone has taken ownership and then over the next few days see that they have yet to be confirmed as owners and so far have no say in the running of the club.

I also wish people would get off O'Hara's back. They are administrators and they are doing their job. Anyone who criticises them clearly does not understand what administrators do! We have lost at least three marketable players in what is very likely to be a fire sale (knock down price to get the cash in). Further the sales will be to cut costs and aid cashflow, as a result the demand for instant/prompt cash rather than extended settlement periods (if the nature of these deals) is likely to reduce the proceeds further.

I personally have a worry (without any influence from anyone else) that Kear may well walk. He may view his position as untenable with a depleted squad. We don't know how much has been raised from player sales so far and how many more players will be sold.

Mr Glover, please stand up and tell us what is happening and why? For me, you have not got off to a good start with your announcement on Friday then the events of the last few days. I also fear that now the club is lesser of an asset with the ongoing player sales which will influence negotiations further.

Please put up or shut up.

On Friday the announcement was that an agreement had been reached with the administrators for a sale of the club, subject to the RFL giving written approval for passing the 'Fit and Proper' test. As far as seeing through the transaction why wouldn't he? As for time scale and hold ups, the answer to that lies with the RFL. As for put up or shut up. If you are in such a position that you can start to have a side swipe at somebody who is willing to invest in the club. Then maybe it should be people like you that should 'put up or shut'

Maybe just maybe someone on our side is having a word in the Administrators ears to ease our debt problems without us looking too bad???

Does anyone actually know what the benchmark is to pass the RFL's Fit and Proper person criteria?

Wasn't he appealing though against being ruled unfit to be a director, due to his personal financial problems?

This is the RFL we are talking about so I suspect it would change weekly pending on which club was involved.

I get the feeling that unfortunately Andrew Glover doesn't really know what is going on and that is one of the main problems.

The lifting gear used to get Wood out of his bed collapsed under the strain,so he could be a no show and Glover will win by default.

First let me say that I was happy last friday when Mr.Glover announced that he was the new owner but since then we have heard nothing from him about what is happening.Okay I know he he has not got the go ahead from the RL as yet but surely he could announce whether he is going ahead with the purchase or not,don't forget. that one of the main problems we had with Richardson was that he told us nothing and look where that has led us.

O’Hara said Glover had not attended a scheduled meeting on Monday afternoon and the sale was still up in the air.

O’Hara said he is now planning talks with the RFL to discuss “plan B” in case a take-over does not go ahead.




So, is Glover still wanting us. Looks like he's having trouble making his mind up.
