Seriously though I read the article this morning and hope that is the case, it gives potential new owners a bit more time to get their 'ducks in a row'.

Can't see anything to stop him training with us and if we do get sorted 'off the field' in time, then he could play against Castleford. Smith is apparently training but legally we can't pay him - now there's an idea to cut costs in pre season.

And chief executive James Elston has confirmed the club is hopeful of having new owners before their season opener against Castleford at Millennium Magic. Elston told People Sport

I'm pretty certain a man of Steve Parkins stature would not be up for 'pulling together'. The present regime obviously feel they have a position to play in the future of the club.

If there is any trace of the present regime - and you know where not talking the about the Community Team here - in place after the next few weeks, then the club will be in major trouble. People WILL stop going, and then the club (and some hangers on) can moan about those who don't care enough...but it'll be like a dying relative, sometimes you have to let the memories be good ones, and not bad ones.
