I think you should all breath a slight sigh of relief... they can let this folly continue for another 4 years, they have to go!

| Terrible news for the Crusaders. Sad day for all concerned, particularly for their supporters who have been a breath of fresh air.
Seems like a reprieve for ourselves and Castleford, which I welcome, but it's sad its down to another teams demise.

| I think for the RFL to now "relegate" anyone else would be immensely difficult, however knowing the RFL I wouldn't go so far as to say impossible.
Be interesting to see how much abuse Crusaders now get from other fans and compare that with the grief we got from other fans when we got issued with a winding up order.

| It is in the Sun so i wont believe it until it comes from a reputable source.
If it is true then on a purly selfish level itis good news for Wakey. However for the sport as a whole it is not good news.

| I have mixed feelings about it too but I also think they needed another 3 years to be ready and the RFL rushed them in. I think the future does lie in South Wales not North Wales though!
It is being speculated that they can no longer apply for a SL now license anyway, if confirmed as true, as you can't apply if you have been in administration for a set period before the application.

This is true, however because it is crusaders, i have a feeling the words "rules" and "bending" may well come into it or am i just being cynical?

According to posts on the VT, the club have stated the report in the Sun is untrue, and they haven't gone into administration. So there you go. Personally, I wish them well and hope they manage to sort the mess out.

| If they do go bust, it’s great news for us.
I just hope the club doesn’t take the foot off the gas regarding our relocation, but, if the worst comes to the worst and the project gets called in, it would give us a little breathing space.
It would be a shame for the new recruits to the game in Wales, but one in the eye for the RFL. When are the imbeciles at Red Hall going to realise the error of their ways.
Have they not tried Wales before and failed, the only reason the London gig is still going is, due to their philanthropist. They should concentrate on the South Wales club, build it up slowly, and not throw a club to the wolves.

I know we need to stay in super league, but lets get it fare and square and not through some one else's demise, I for one want the game to grow in Wales, Ireland,Scotland and to the rest of England and for me Wales and southern England must be targeted first Wales need more team in the lower leagues at least 3 more, and so does the south of England, we have Quins and Skolars but we could do with at least another two teams working up the lower leagues..

I have always been at great pains to make it clear that our focus is entirely on our own house and not that of others / rivals. What they do is not irrelevant to our situation, but we can have no bearing on it. If this is true then it is a sad day for the game and I would be sorry that it would be seen as us gaining from their demise. We must remain entirely focussed on getting our own house in order and delivering the facilities and the club we all deserve.

| I've read the club statement, and it isn't the most reassuring. It just says that they did not go into administration "last night" and that they will issue a statement shortly. It did not rule out any plans or expectation of administration, which you might have expected.
We can't rely on it too much anyway. If the ground gets called in, Halifax will replace us and Widnes will replace Crusaders.

| As much as I feel half sorry for them if true, it's tough times allround, if there not sustainable then they should go, and that goes for anyone else too.
It's madness to relegate a sound business to save a bad one, just for franchise criteria.
Either the system is too early, or crusaders were in SL too early.
If it's true, at least common sense has prevailed, though not by the expansion at all costs buffoons at red hall!!
Tough luck!

| I feel as a super league club we have a duty to help out our Welsh counterparts and therefore i propose to take Jarrod Sammut from their first team squad. This will free up his wages to help in other areas!!
