Just throwing a name in the ring:
David Garthwaite (H. B. Clark's Managing Director). Life long Trinity fan, was interested in buying the club lock, stock and barrel over a decade ago but as I recall Ted was unwilling to release the club in it's entirety. A VERY wealthy man with good connections and a good friend of Sir Rodney. Fit's the bill IMO.

We need to strip the club down to the bare-bones IMO and instate professionally qualified, proven individuals. Take our marketing as an example: marginal at best. I'm 100% sure they're graduates out there, working hard on (mainly unpaid) internships, IMO any new owner/director/CEO should look to those markets to improve our product.
I'm sure a new owner will move away from the family business mentality we currently employ.

no not heard anything. nor would i want to post at the moment after it looks like my source was wrong about mcrone.

Quite a bizarre statement and risky strategy being taken by the club and could easily be perceived in a negative way for example Newcastle Utd.But credit to them for pining their colours to the mast and here's hoping.
