However, the question is whether it will be outright rejected or the Council giving a preliminary OK to it with a view to the SoS saying they can make the decision or whether they want it to go to public inquiry.

They'll need a decision very quickly then if the meeting isn't until September if they wish to build it in time for the next round of SL licence applications. I bet if it goes to a public enquiry that will take a fair while for that process to be gone through.

If the council are supporting both schemes they are the ones who should get of their collective fat s and get the planning through, as I understand its applied for and sat on some penpushers desk as we bicker. You could say they're positive looking, but I'd say that once again Cas are putting out the same dross they always send out and the SL website, as ever, are too lazy to rewrite the Cas press releases. Its a copy and paste job for SL and another chance for Cas to put a cack-handed spin on very little. "Cas surpirsed at Trin"? Give over!
