Thought after yet another abject performance and Kears CV appearing at Odslum, it was time for a further poll.

I have used names that have been suggested before and a further option for none of them

My vote is Karl Harrison - he has done wonders for Batley on a shoestring budget and would get a team together who were proud to wear the shirt and play with the passion that seems to have gone out of the squad (well most of em)

I've always thought Harrison would be idealy suited to life at Trinity should Kear leave.

Just watched Look North news, as I was at Wakey match and taped the match...in the post match interview with HARRISON, he said it all for me...TEAM OF ENGLISH PLAYERS.

He would be so suited to Wakefield with the budget we could offer.

Powel is the best candidate IMHO, he was groomed at Leeds, experienced Union, and as taken Fev from a ok team to a top NL side who play the best rugby at this time in GB, and that includes SL. I dont meen that they are the best team, and would not beat most SL sides, but they play a very good brand of RL, and its great to watch.

Willie Poching with a good local English assistant who knows the local amateur sides of all ages.

Poching/Jowitt. Ex-players who have played the modern SL game and have already been involved in coaching.

It would also be a good idea to get several Wakefield district schools playing League and not exclusively Union.

Is Poaching paying you ? or are you his agent, you are banding him about on every thread possible.

If Kear goes i'd go for Darryl Powell with Poching as assistant.

Darryl Powell for me

Right now I would settle for Robert Powell (maybe he can tap into when he played Jesus and give us the miracle we need.)

He's a great coach, even a 225-0 loss today would have been due to a well drilled side. He kept us up in 1885. He won Hull and Eagles a cup which means he is a good coach in the league format.

I think if John had a breakdown and murdered 3 cheerleaders he'd still get full backing from some quarters!
