| Very scrappy so far. Slippery conditions leading to a lot of dropped ball. Cas probably shading it so far. 6-6.

| Much improved performance second half. Still lacking a spark without Brough IMO but hopefully in time the new combinations will click. 19-6.

| Thought they (cas) had as much possession in the first half as we did in the 2nd the difference was we capatilised on it and scored some try's.
The first half was pretty poor, scrappy affair with cas shading it, however 2nd half we totally took control had a decent enough kicking game with excellent 40/20 from obst as well as nilling them.
Cooke looked much better and did well with his goal kicks and drop very professional and did a lot "dinks" into their in goal in 2nd half getting a few drop outs in the process just efficient play.
They were as bad as each other in the first half and as good as each other in the 2nd, thought paul king had a few decent drives and tackled well.
Very efficient and dominant play in the 2nd ill take the 2 points whilst beating our lowly neighbours crappy cas.
Roll on wigan

| Yep, thought it was a pleasing effort and any 2 points is a good 2 points.
Cooke and King both looked better and Murphy went well in the centres and the defence on that side looked much better for it. Tronc's stint was superb I thought and will be very hard to replace should he leave...
All round good team display and we go to Wigan with every chance IMO..

He'll be getting my vote, defence tonight saved us a few times in the first half, Moore played well last 20 or so.

I thought he looked unfit or uninterested

| Enjoyed the 2nd half, flawless rugby played by a team who knew they had a game a few days later. Pinned Cas in their own half constantly who actually defended well to the end. Laying on, flopping, being offside, not square and grapple tackling helps though. I thought Child had another top game though.
Hendo was awesome, hit-ups galore, half breaks and at one point the plodding Westerman fooled the whole stadium with a dummy but not Hendo who smashed him.
Good Trinity turnout too to say Cas brought no more than 400.
One concern though was why the stewards were only letting 1 person out of the ground at a time and then left when the fans were getting hostile? The gates were opening outwards instead of inwards and fans were getting crushed.

Me too, worst game for us in my opinion tonight - and his shortest sting (last 15 mins of first half and first 20 mins or so of 2nd half, when he hasn'y seemed troubled by around an hour in previous games). You have to question the plan of starting with Korki and bringing Tronc on after 25 mins, why would we start with an impact prop and leave our grafter on the bench for so long?
Pretty dull stuff for me, but a big improvement on last weeks poor effort and the right decision drafting in King for Gledhil.

| Went ok Ponner, no better or no worse than any other forward IMO.
Went off near the end after looking uncomfortable in himself I thought, was holding his leg and looking over to the bench. When he did go off he ran quite quick across the field and didn't hobble off badly, so not sure what to make of that?
Pleased for you that Brough went well, start paying off some of that transfer fee.

Danny did well considering he's only been with us a couple of weeks.
Good on Danny but you'll get the downside to it as well.
