What effect do the fans opinions have in all this?

Fans from Bridgend travelling to home games in Wrexham? I think not.

A complete horlicks - however you look at it. And yet our own club, in a heartland area, with over a century of history and a proven production line of players is under threat due to the desire to include these 'sham' clubs.

I have nothing against the idea of expansion - indeed I would love to have a viable club in South Wales and Gateshead - but one year into the deal and the guy bottles it. How the hell does that help anyone?

I'd like to know cru cru opinion on this, when I chatted to him down in bridge end he said that he traveled all over the country to every away game and accrued a massive amount of mileage following the Crusaders all season, would be heartless to move for the fans that have followed them everywhere how could they expect the fans to move to Wrexham and continue supporting the club

if we moved to say like Barnsley I could cope with that if it was only for a while until the new stadium was being built

Crusaders fans have been completely shat on if they end up moving to Wrexham. On the other hand it could be the only way to survive, if the owner has walked out you take any help you can get. One plus point with a move to Wrexham would be that they'll be playing out of a modern stadium.

Expansion is fine if it works. It doesn't look like it is working in Wales, and maybe because they haven't grown naturally. I want to see rugby league work in Wales, but Wrexham isn't where you think of when you think of homegrown Welsh rugby talent. That is football country.

They won't be in the Super League next time around, I'm pretty sure of that. I imagine they'll lose all their nurtured support and have to start all over again.

Let Widnes in.

I don't think sharing a soccer ground has done very much for Doncaster or Rochdale,recently.
If a heartland club suffers difficulty - Wakefield/Keighley - should they be replaced by an 'expansion'club ? NO - So suggestions that a club which recently went into administartion (Widnes) should just replace another is not the answer.

Don't think a club should be blamed for mismanagement or maladministration by another club - or disagreement as to how best pay a bill.

Some of these 'Sugar Daddies' ain't all they seem either.
My sympathies extend to all genuine rugby league fans in South Wales.Also to the young players who may now aspire to other sports and be lost to our game.

Not surprised, it was suggested during the season that haines was gonna jump ship. Could I care less? No not really, they were shoe horned in, the square peg hasn't fit the round hole!
Do I feel sorry for the supporters, no more so than if it were featherstone, Doncaster, widnes etc. But at least they deserved there shot!!

its to be hoped nobby has'nt bought a house in bridgend , as usual RL is made to look very unprofesional once again, this could have been avoided if they had not been fast tracked into SL and given time to lay down some roots and grow gradually, Now it just looks like another failed welsh club is going to the wall

When people say we shouldnt be in SL you point to the decision by the RFL to allow what seems a very paper thin organisation which crusaders seem to be into Super League just because they are in south wales (or not it seems..) The RFL continue to make themselves look silly by doing this....

If it's the same player I know of he also got is kids sorted with Schooling.
