Rugby League reporters do a great job, fighting for column inches with Chavball and Union and against their own editors.
This guy has worked inside both the organisations mentioned so knows how they tick and will have the contacts - that's why he will be a great signing for us.

do RL journalists have contacts?? And the RFL couldn't promote a up at brewery field!! I can't see anything to get excited about, but he can't be any worse than his predecessor.
As for the old media guy, that was my point also. |

The guy was called Andy Morgan and he has gone to HKR with James Elston.
Nice lad, well educated, but young and not so worldly wise - not enough to push our message - and let's face it, we need to work so much harder to sell ourselves than HKR do, so he'll do just fine there!
John is a completely different matter - and having spoken to him for 10 minutes, I know he's the right man for the job. Time will hopefully prove me right! |
