Listening to the game of the radio I thought it was a poor decision from Kear, should have taken him off as the game was clearly won. Danny wears his heart on his sleeve but it was clear from the commentators that the red mist had descended well before the red card came out.

The fact he plays for Wakefield and not one of the special clubs just seals the deal.

Makes wire game even harder now.

Gonna be contoversial here, but I blame Kear as much as I blame Brough.

I called it to me Dad and for me it was a no brainer, after he'd sent Latu in under the sticks why the hell didn't Kear take him off?

He'd not been back on long after being in the bin, within 2 minutes of coming back on he'd been involved in two incidents at the play the ball one resulting in a penalty against, one a penalty for and after sending Latu over got involved in some words with Van-Dyck.

He was wound up, they were winding him up, he had a tremendous game and was the best player on the field by a country mile, the game was in the bag and safe. Why didn't Kear read the situation like I did and withdraw him after that kick?

He would have recieved a standing ovation and MOM to boot, but instead now faces a stupid ban.

Maybe he should have been taken off,
But if you try and take dannys attitude away you lose alot of his game.

But that decision in the first place was an absolute shambles he tackled the player into touch and the linesman gives a penatly and he deserved some abuse (perhaps from the fans though ).

Danny had an excellent day otherwise. I know he got sinbinned but it was merely a tactic to try and diffuse the situation.

The ref had a shocker, he had no respect from either set of players or fans. Too many niggly pens. He made the situation worse.

I expect 1 game due to the incompetence of the official.

Was strange he had every thing try, goals and sin bin just needed the sending off forthe full house and no sooner did I mention to my cousin off he went very poor by brough. He was by far the best player today and would have walked the mom but brain explosion took over be lucky to have him until the playoffs now if we do indeed get there.

Yes Broughy should have kept his mouth shut, but Jase Van Dyke was warned several times (at least 5 in a row) by James Child and absolutely nothing was done. He was the instigator of most of the problems throughout the game. Absolutely disgusting, no consistency at all.

He should not be allowed to referee at this standard.

Brough is like Rooney (not Jamie, Wayne) you take the attitiude out of him and he loses his edge.

Really hope he only gets one game, annoys the hell out of me that dangerous tackles and head highs are put on report but you call a touch judge a **** an you get a straight red... fingers crossed JD doesn't get a ban... remember we are not a top 4 team thats exempt from punishment for 50/50 decisions. like others.

how the hell can the same linesman yet again put his flag up to say brough had yet again been punched at the PTB with the only punishment being a another telling off yet brough ends up walking after tackling into touch ...

celtic had one game plan and its not one i like , maybe they have nothing left to play for but they have a long way to go before they will be credible ...lost a lot of respect today

Nah dont think korki will get a ban, I was right near it hit the shoulder first then knocked up to face of that **** who was winding crowd up round here.

Kear is usually very laid back dosent say much about the officials but he sounded absoultely VEXED off at the performance of the ref today.

Brough might get 1 due to respect campaign.

and more importantly, gat the whole danny brough contract thing sorted out.

sure hes a pain, but hes the best creative player we have had at half back in years and years, some of his passes today were brilliant.

like him or not he's the pivotal point of our club, lets get his contract sorted
