Hear we have signed him up for next season icon_biggrin.gif And Evans also signed.

Pleased with Morrison signing, he is a quality player but not so sure about Evans seems like a step in wrong direction. Why not give George or Murphy a chance at centre

Evans is a good player, the problem with him is he has been sat in the stand for more time than he's been on the pitch.

Solomona not Morrison from what I've heard - both could be good signings whichever it is, but they're both injury prone & old too so it's a risk that could go either way.

The injury prone situation should have little effect on a player getting a new club, look at Feather for Cas, he hardly played for 2/3 years before he came to Cas, and he has been our second best prop this year IMO, and has stayed pretty much injury free up to date.

He is absolute class whenever I have seen him, cracking signing if we can get and keep him fit if true. Exactly the type of ball handling forward that would complement the pack for next year, if Turry and Tronc have indeed signed.

Evans - not the most inspiring signing. Not seen a right lot of him this year to be fair, and he did make a nice contribution during the great escape - but should we offer him a cheap contract this time around? Not sure.

Solomoana - think he has had is best days, and luckily he spent them with us. Too much of a gamble, unless he is on an absolute peanuts then you would have to question it, particularly given his track record for telling fibs.... We weren't good enough for him then, after all.

I'm really not in the business of "someone told me this that and the other", but I have also heard that David Solomona will sign for you from what I would consider to be someone in the know.
With regards to Morrison, I think he would be an awesome signing for you, a top class player who gives 110%, and his absense IMO is one of the big reasons Bradford are currently struggling. With him, Tronc and Newton I think that is the foundation of an excellent pack along with your promising youngsters such as Ferguson in there too.
Also, I think James Evans has been very impressive, gets through lots of work and is solid, as you will have seen first hand in the back end of 2006. Just seems abit injury prone, but if he gets a good run without any niggles, he will go well for you. Shame to lose him really, but the apparent swap between Martin and Evans is quite an odd one for me, as they are bothon quota, a similar age and the same position it seems very strange.

Solomona was looking good before his shoulder went. He almost rescued them single-handedly when they delivered that awful performance against Warrington at Odsal.

Same for Morrison.

Wouldn't have a problem with Evans. He has done well for every club he has turned out for and seems pretty fit.

We need at least one creative, ball-handling SR. Solo always gives good service to his wingers which they are currently not getting for whatever reason! I'd welcome either Glen or Solo

Morrison - a class player, can play in the pack or at stand off

Solomona - a class player, can make or break a game

Evans - has always punched above his weight in SL, a solid and reliable player

What is the common denominator here along side age.....?

They're all injury prone....

in the last 2 seasons havnt all of them picked up at least 2 injuries that resulted in lengthy lay offs?!

I'd welcome all of them back, as i rate them as players, although solo wouldnt need to lose 3 stone in the off season...but the only risk is having them sidelined for the majority of the season
