| Anyone see the reaction of some of the Chelsea players at the full time whistle?
Ok the ref may not have been great, but there was no need for all that carry on.
Drogba swearing to the camera and getting in the refs face. Terry who is the captain and England captain shouting at the ref getting in his face, surley he should be calming the players down.
Thank god we never see this in rugby!

| They were disgraceful. Though they did believe that the referee did deny them three clear penalties. The pundits were going on about the ref not being from a strong footballing nation and maybe another ref should have been used instead which I thought was patehtic. Nice one Drogba swearing at the camera for all to hear.
Hopefully a nice fine from UEFA/FIFA will be on its way. They're just spoilt children really and if any kids are watching that it is a shame to have them see grown ups abusing the ref like that. The ref did just stand there and did take it then booked Drogba - should have been a red for abusing the official.
I don't think that will ever happen in our sport as I believe the players have respect for the officials even if we supporters bitch about the refs.

| I can understand why drogba reacted that way,
But i would have to say he should get banned for swearing to the sky camera,
It was in the heat of the moment, and therefore he may get excused for it, but i dont see how they're can be anything other than a ban for repeatedly using swear words towards the public.
I think that it was the referee's fault mainly, because of how he didn't handle the occasion, and i just hope there is a better referee in the final.

| If Drogba didn't throw himself on the floor so often he might've got one of the feather brush penalties.
I though Trinity fans were bad for conspiracy theories but the one about UEFA not wanting an all English final therefore manipulated the outcome of the match has to be up there with the most ridiculous.

The kind of money they are on they should not behave like that. They should be setting an example. They are too far up there back sides half of these football players now a days.
Let's face it Drogba is no angel and he was diving quite a bit in fact he is by far the worst for it in the prem league, he has always been like that.

Agreed, would another ref of give a penalty? Who knows? And how Chelsea fans or pundits can say that is beyond me!
Maybe 1 penalty should have been given, but they had enough chances to put the game to bed so should be more worried about that.

| To be honest even though I dont think it is fully the correct thing to do I was good to see some of the reactions, all the time in sport we say that the players are not passionate enough, they dont care, are just in it for the money etc but for once it is good to see the passion and fire in their bellies

Possibly another ref would have given at least one penalty but then again........

| I have to say i agree that chelsea were hard done to last night. Quite clearly at least 3 penaltys could have been given.
Emotions did run high and im sure i wouldnt have been able to hold back, the same as drogba.
However, i do think he should have tryed to just leave the pitch and air his views in another way.
Hiddink himself did the right thing for me, calm the players down and then come out and speak to the media in a calm and organised way.
A ban will be on its way for drogba i would imagine, which i also can understand as the ref has to be respected, however crap they are.

Worse than Ronaldo? Don't think so!
To be fair Drogba is just one of loads of players who throw themselves about...but until refs start not giving free kicks everytime they do it then why stop?
If a wakey player could get an advantage for our team by slightly bending the rules then i'd be happy for them to do it!
I never understand the whole, they're on loads of money so shouldn't react like that argument. At the end of the day they're only human and if they feel harshly treated then they'll react just like anyone else!
It doesn't make it correct, but it happens and it's become as much a part of football as anything else.
Until the FA/FIFA/UEFA make a stand and stop players arguing with the ref and diving then it will continue to happen!

| TBF though, the only thing people should be talking about from last night...was what's going on with Florent Malouda's hair?

Drogba is head and shoulders above Ronaldo for diving. It's more Ronaldo running too fast so a clip of his heels will send him flying.
Drogba is just a complete joke, he acts like a idiot when Chelsea lose. His actions last night can not be justified. And as a pro football player he should be looking to set an example and learn to keep there cool.
No I would not want a Wakey player to try and bend the rules. If you can't win fair then you can't win at all

So you honestly think that wakey players never try to gain an advantage by laying on the tackled player a bit longer...or holding onto the player they've been tackled by to get a penalty...give your head a shake!
I assume your a man u supporter, as only a man u supporter could try to say that Ronaldo doesn't dive at all...which is what you've said!
Ronaldo throws himself about all day long and then if he doesn't get a free kick he moans like a little baby and shouts at the ref!

To be honest yes, I am not saying I like what he did and I do not want any of our players to do that, but yes he lost his head we can all do that at times and he did it beacuse he was upset and felt cheated at the loss
