If broken, healing is one thing strength in the arm takes months + ones mind & confidence to return ????

Not sure if it could have been a dislocated shoulder, collar bone or broken arm but likely to be one of the three. Let’s hope it’s nothing too severe and we see him out on the pitch soon.

I really hope it’s an injury he can come back from but that really doesn’t look good at all does it…

I have no knowledge of X-rays but that’s a real hammer blow for the lad.

The early season injury curse that has blighted Trinity for many seasons seems to be continuing. This is sadly a big blow for a lad who seemed to have a lot of potential.

Two long term ones before the start of the season isn’t great I agree. Luckily as it stands we can cover those.

Not good but sounds like it could have been worse if that’s the case. I’ve no doubt the club will support him through recovery well.

The injury apart, I thought the incident itself was bad. Obvious penalty try but if that had been a SL or Championship game it was a certain yellow and most likely a red.

Yes was just wondering how the match review committee might deal with the Hunslet ARLFC individual - hitting someone maliciously from behind (or in NRL parlance a "dog shot"icon_wink.gif is not really in the spirit of the game is it?

It was right in front of us and he hit him from the side with a shoulder charge...there was no attempt to get the ball, he just took Boothroyd out. Was definitely a penalty try (as I shouted to the ref at the time !!) and I agree that it should have been either a yellow or red card too
