Another step can be taken for the top four finish.
Saints are not the threat they used to be for the Trinity but they can still put a good performance together.
Providing the pack can be contained I think we can match them in the backs
A close game that could go either way for me.

They were too hot for us last time out, but Wigan outplayed them last night and showed us how to do it.
We just need to be at our best again icon_razz.gifRAY:

We were without several players, most notably Miler. Now adding Randell in the mix...a different Trinity this time. Come on lads!!To beat St Helens and Wigan at home in their current state...will we ever have a better chance of a Grand Final Semi?

No excuse for anything other than a full house.

Forget the pub having an happy hour on, your sniffles, slimmers world, meeting. Wakeys biggest game for a decade. Win and it's not only on... It's actually likely.

Would love to be there but I'll be 1600 miles away. Haven't missed a home game this year and now this - what a one to miss eusa_wall.gif
If we're on top form we can do it. Just have to keep concentration and not switch off - even for 5 minutes.

Funny side for me are Saints...in the build up to the last time we played them I really fancied us to beat them. They had been much improved but still hadn't done all that much to really impress from what I had seen, and haven't really after either...they did a real number on us that day though...their pack totally dominated ours and Roby, Fages and Richardson were all excellent off the back of that and ripped us apart...

Looking back now and with the benefit of hindsight, I just wonder how much Adam Walker knew what was around the corner? I remember thinking on the day that he should have had a big game considering how it didn't work out for him at Saints and the stage was set for him to make a real statement...he was very disappointing...I'd also question how fit Huby and Fifita were and how much those two have benefitted from the recent week off?

We go into this off the back off a superb team effort and great win...we look fit and healthy across the park with players knocking at the door for a shirt...we've Miller & Randell who didn't play last time and I think this time our pack will get on top and we have the creativity and pace in the backs to take advantage of that..

It will be interesting to see how Saints line up in the pivots as Smith is getting a lot of stick from their fans!

Really looking forward to this and hope the people of Wakefield wake up to what's happening down at Belle Vue lately and pack the place out...

If ever we needed a win this is it. Would put us one foot in the semi final for the biggest trophy in the league.

This set of players can go all the way I'm sure of it. This will be the biggest run in of any season in many of their careers.

Very exciting times at wakey!

Chezzy won't need to have much of a motivational speech before this one. The coaching staff have done amazing getting the full squad to be peaking at the right time. The place is buzzing and they must be feeding off each other's performance's.

Bring on the Grand Final !!!!!!

Hard to call this one - Saints certainly look the part and appear to do all the right things, but they seem disjointed, and their finishing is poor. It's winnable - but it could easily go the other way.

Thats exactly how I see it bren2k.
Saints are not a team you can allow to grow in confidence . A good starts a must and put them under pressure from the off. They tend to become frustrated when things are not quickly going there way.
They also have a couple of players who like to ref the game so a strong man in the middle is a must.

This is a winnable game, but which Saints team shows up depends on which halves they go with. Fingers crossed Matty Smith gets the nod as they look much livelier with that young lad (Richardson?) playing. He had a great game against us back in July!
