If Smith went and Sammut came in the halfback pairing looks more promising with Sykes going back to the centres.

Sykes at centre would see us left wide open on the outside.

We favour a sliding defence and Sykes lack of pace will see him exposed. Before his move to SO Sykes was little better than 'average' at centre.

Wouldn't have him there unless absolutely necessary.

I'm happy with Collis and Kienhurst (spell?) at centre. I think that will be a really good partnership

If there is a move for Sammut,the first thing Sammut had heard about it was from his team mates at training on Monday after they had seen the paper.

Really can't see Sammut coming here but if by freak occurence he did then i assume that the Siejka deal isn't happening, otherwise where would he play? Would prefer to hang onto Lee Smith as well to be honest, for me he is a better centre at this stage than Keinhorst and is our best goalkicker. But I guess its all about the finances again.

And to say we are about a 1000 STs under what MC quoted a while back: he hoped we'd achieve - i think we have a team in with a shout.
Shame the city hasn't backed the club...again!!
