| I would like to create this thread basically to praise the performance of Oli Wilkes, particularly over the last 3 or 4 games. I haven't read many positive opinions about his impact on our games this season - he seems to be a bit of a forgotten man - but once again Oli came on yesterday and made a positive impact with several strong carries and some decent defence.
Keep it up, Oli. (Hope he reads this )

| I agree Wilkes has done well this year. Hes kept hold of the ball and run it in very well. Cannot fault OLAY this year. Ralleigh is the player I fear most had a dissapointing year.

| He started the season in poor form but has turned it around!
Deserves a 1 year deal for next year!
Just for that try at Widnes!!
I would like to see him stay but feel Agar will let him go!!!!
Just like Frankie!!!!!!!!!!!

| Didn't see him yesterday but he's certainly found some form after a disappointing first half of the season, pleased for the bloke. I think he proves you shouldn't right guys like Raleigh off, especially after a injury hit season.

| I agree with what someone previous said he deserves an extra year but Agar will probably let him go and replace him.

Don't turn this thread into another one of your player debates. It's solely to appreciate Oli's good form. That goes for both of you.

agree with both sentiments - but i hope that we keep both wilkes and raleigh - with tauti potentially one of best front rows in league. Wilkes has responded to the dropping, and raleigh has struggled getting back to last years form

| I'm a fan of Oli's, a real grafter who's never shy about sticking his hand up but with Poore, TT, Raleigh and Amor in front of him in the pecking order (IMO) I wouldn't be too concerned if we released and we retained Annakin.

| I wouldn't say Raleigh is in front of Wilkes, granted he has had injuries but I think Wilkes has been one of our best forwards this year

Best front rower is debatable as there are different types of a front rower if you get what I mean. Although we won't probably keep Wilkes if we do it will be nice because we'll have depth in the Front Row say if Raleigh or anyone is injured. He can also cover secondrow where he played yesterday and a few other times this season. I never really knew why he was dropped for the Magic Weekend game he played quiet well before that.

No he hasn't, he was dreadful up until the Widnes away game and was dropped at one point - nowhere near the best IMO.
However if Ollie has a good run left in him then now is the time that true.

No more dreadful than half our pack if that is the case.

| Poore and Amor should be are starting props just like yesterday and the way we started the season!
Until Agar claimed Amor was cutting corners to put Raleigh in!!
Agar can take some of the blame for Raleighs poor form for bringing him back to soon and not fully fit!
That's proberly why hes got new contract deserved or not!!!!
Amors out of contract better sign him up 3+years please!!!!
