| It is looking like we have started to gel as a team with some great performances over the past few weeks. Where do we feel it is essential to strengthen for next year?
Anyone heard any potential signings or departures?
I would be looking to retain Mathers, Sykes if possible.

Depends on the Amor situation for me. If he stays I still think we need a bustling quality prop. If he goes possibly two props. That said, Amor, Raleigh and Wilkes have all played exceptionally well this season and Johnson is again showing some form. We seem ok in the back row. Keep Sykes and Mathers and to be honest I don't really have enough knowledge to say what position then should be changed.
We'd all like to sign top players but we cant afford them and after the last three games perhaps we don't need a lot of changes?

| Definetly need for a Prop if Kyle goes -Maybe looking to sign one anyway? Although i was very impressed with Matty James yesterday! Fullback if Mathers goes or Cockayne to FB, Mellars to wing and sign a new Centre. Would like to retain Sykes at 6 as he`s solid and compliments Tim smith at 7.

| Looks like agar wants a kind of " strike " back rower. We made an offer to manu and been rumoured to be after weller huaraki. That said frankies played well when fit so wouldnt be dissapointed to see him re-sign.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| Moriano has looked very good these past few weeks with very strong drives and good yard gains - worth keeping.
Johnson also worthy of another year.
I would drop southern if any of our second rowers were to go and use the money to find a quality prop. Not knocking southern as I think he's been solid.
With ali, Kirmond, Moriano, Walshaw, trout, Johnson I think we are ok at second row.

Theres only so much you can support a player - To describe him as solid is ridiculous - The guys tried - But he has been no way solid - Hes been in and out of the squad with injuries - When he has played hes played 15- 20 minutes and been smashed about on the pitch - Lets not sugar coat that fact - Maybe due to the fact that hes been played out of position but he hasnt been up to scratch this season

| 2nd row is brilliant why mess that up kirmond, ali and Mariano switch johnson to 2nd row thats a excellent 2nd row bin southern off. If its true O Meley has signed so that gives us RALLAIGH, WILKES, O MELEY, JAMES And pray Amour stays thats fine for props. We don't need to make any signings if we don't sign mathers we have to get a quality fullback !

| I'd be surprised if Southern is still here next season and if its true about Mariano leaving then another back rower is a must. A block bustring prop would be desirable as well. A lot depends on who Agar sheds from the squad. With the re-organisation of the academy set-up a few of our younger players may be heading out of the door as we won't have the room for them. Agar has already said he thinks the squad is too big this year and I fear players like Morton, Spiers & Wilde may find themselves on the outer. Getting the balance right to leave us with enough depth is going to be difficult.

Out of sheer curiosity, is there any reason why you call Mariano Moriano?

| I think Weller Hauraki would fit right in at Cas - I'd like to wish them luck in their attempts to sign him.
Difficult to talk about new signings for us right now, with uncertainty about Sykes, Mathers, Amor, Mariano and possibly Johnson and Southern.
Putting all of that aside, I'd like the O'Meley rumour to be true - regardless of who we retain (or not) he'd be a useful weapon for 20 minutes per half; when fully fit, he can wreak havoc.
