We've all had plenty of discussions lately about homegrown players, but I was just sat thinking what my greatest team of imports would be from my time following Wakefield. I've only gone with players I've seen myself, so here goes:

1. Henry Paul
2. Chris Perry
3. James Leuluai
4. Sid Domic
5. Semi Tadulala
6. Steve Ella
7. Geoff Bagnell
8. Shane Tronc
9. Sam Obst
10. Adrian Shelford
11. David Solomona
12. Darren Fritz
13. Ray Price

14. Jason Demetriou
15. Oliver Elima
16. Glenn Morrison
17. Adam Watene

Reserves: Brian Jackson, Michael Korkidas

Sadly not, my first season was 1988.

One of my favourite Bagnall performances was against Widnes in a midweek game. It rained all the way over and when we finally got to Naughton Park the floodlights went out! When we finally got in we'd no cover and it rained the entire game. Although we lost the game, Bagnall was awesome that night, as was John Devereux for Widnes, and is one of my favourite memories as a Wakefield fan, despite the result. Although I was shattered at school the day after!

Was in the 1988/89 season. Making debut against Hull in the 16-10 win that put us top of the league. Recommended by Mark Graham. Played half a season before going home just before Christmas.

Should have been a great signing but didn't work out that well. During the preseason we had signed both Ian Roberts and Mark Elia who both have backword and never played for us.

Mark Graham was a class act though even during just a few games. In a couple of seasons we had Mark Graham, Ray Price and Steve Norton in our back row. Those in the height of their careers would rival any back row in the world.

Couple more South Africans for you who probably would not get in because of Lewis and Solomona, Colin Greenwood and Ivor Dorrington
