Been solid as a rock in the halves. There have been plenty of fullbacks who have transitioned from full back to stand-off. Is Jowitts long term future for us at stand off?

Miller and Jowitt look good together in the halves at the moment.

Think Jowitt as done a good job in the 6 7 roll ,in fact think he as done well in every match he as played .Miller as looked a lot better with out Brough . Trouble is Chester said Brough is back next week , any body think he might play Brough at 9 .

Yes because he's obviously not going to be our regular FB and he's too good to leave out of the team!
seriously, he looks very much at home in HB role and I see him there long term.

Send Brough out on loan for a bit, to get some match fitness

Agree about Jowitt and the longer he gets to play in the halves, the better he will get.
He deserves massive credit for his patience and just how well he has filled a huge hole in the side.

Right now, Jowitt & Miller are performing better as a pair than Miller / Brough, Hampshire/ Brough or Hampshire/ Miller.
He has a better boot on him than Miller.
If he gets a longer run and playing behind a decent pack, things will only go one way and he will have more confidence to try some of the more subtle stuff.

Jowitt has done nothing that would deserve losing his place. If Brough walks back into the team as soon as he’s fit then Chester will deserve all the flack he gets should it backfire.

If Brough is fit he will play, just as Grix walked back in after injury.

that would be - after the recent performances - disappointing.

Its Chesters call to make at the end of the day...

What Jowitt has done is added another string to his bow and given us a real boost knowing that he can do an excellent job in the halves. He’s also put Brough under pressure to perform if he does get the nod and he’ll know that.

Think Brough has been unlucky because it looked like he’d worked really hard on fitness and was looking sharp before his injury.

Also, what he hasn’t done much since he came back is played behind a fully fit team and a strong pack getting us on the front foot...

Competition for places all across the park is no bad thing...I’ve no issue with Brough getting the nod if he’s fully fit...as I wouldn’t with Arona over Kopczak or Fifita for whoever he comes in for...the only problem would be if Brough doesn’t play to the level Jowitt has and keeps his place...it’s a great position for Chester to be in and long may it continue...much better than scratching around to try and get 17 fit players on the park like large parts of last season!

Agree with the first bit, not so sure about the second.....
As for Koppy, in [imy opinion[/i, I think he's done well and Tini is a different player and position.

Too true. I can't see much forward vision from Chester if he takes this route. Max performance permitting needs an extended run in this position until at least Rocky is back. We can't possibly see 2021 with Danny Brough as halfback can we?
