Chuffin pathetic. Warrington gifted position for 6 tries and the 7th put on a plate when our guy had to study for 5 minutes before making a pigs ear of a simple kick dead.

I'm sure you keep posting I'm negative and always bagging the club/team?? Most of those errors were made by young lads who were trying there hardest against an international Warrington side? Jeez..

With a fair shake from the ref we'd have been even closer. I was delighted to watch those young Wakey lads and the whole side never gave up against ridiculous odds.

If I were looking for those to be alongside me in the trenches, I would choose the players over some on here who question them!

No doubt a great learning curve for the younger guys. Knocks on seem to be killing us more than ever this season. This can be worked on over the course of pre-season.

I was hoping we would be able to upset one or two teams in the eights though.

Bags and bags of effort and they never gave up, can't really ask for more. We were our own worst enemies with the errors though, many of them unforced, which i presume is the point he was trying to make. Can't really fault them though given the difference if the two teams on paper.

Biggest comedian was Hicks closely followed by Cobb......Thought we gave our all to-day and the young lads Crowther, Mazive and Batchelor were tremendous !!

Whilst I never like to see Wakefield Trinity lose a game I'm reasonably relaxed about these last seven games. We were never going to threaten the top four, we're busted with injured players but it's given CC the chance to take a look at some of the youngsters, youngsters who we'd all like to see 'make it' and form the basis of a team of mainly local (ish) lads who may bring future glories to the club.
This time last year we we're all crapping ourselves at the thought of the Middle Eights and the very real prospect of Championship rugby this year so lets not get too downbeat.

Jordan was gutted he knocked on 2 or 3 times and he beats himself up over it but I spoke to him at home and tried to reassure him but to no avail, but Judah and James were a joy to watch and with Max & Jordan they were up against a star studded team and didn't look out of place. Well done to all

Was delighted by the effort all the young players put in today. It was never going to be easy against a strong Warrington side. The young players should hold their heads high tonight.

Nothing but praise for all the young lads today. The look of pride on Mazive's face when he scored was a joy to behold. The big let down for me was Scruton. Don't think we've had our money's worth from him over the three seasons that we've had him.

The execution was missing but what do you expect when we're so busted ? The effort was superb, even running to form a scrum in the last 5 minutes with the game gone.

Plus, the myopic refereeing was disgraceful. It wouldn't and shouldn't have changed the outcome but it would the scoreline and momentum which would have made an engaging game. Hicks was inept to the point of being creative in the ways to penalise us (the kickoff infringement at the end was I felt a churlish response to the crowds anger at him for not spotting the obvious obstruction in the wire try previously ) and clearly had two sets of rules for offside and the ruck ; one which applied to them and one to us.

Despite him, young lads showed heart and resilience against a team in a different pay scale and should be applauded for this.

I think they should hold their heads high after the shift they put in.
