anyone else heard this? If true I hope it doesnt mean they will end up spreading their money at thinner when it comes to sponsoring Wakefield..

It was doing the rounds last week on their forum.
There's certainly a link between JF and ferres, so maybe true.
AFAIK they are still shirt sponsor this year and they still put good money our way.

If the post on Total RL is true then Jonathan France has sold the business and its still ERIC FRANCE who are sponsoring us and nothing to do with Jonathan who if correct has taken on a role as Operations Manager at Castleford.

Good news for Castleford but nothing that will stop our sponsorship by ERIC FRANCE I would have thought.

Hmm not for now, depends if new owner of ERIC FRANCE has got the same affinity for RL as Jonathan

Was always going to happen as soon as Ferres took the Cas job, joined at the hip those two. We've two years left on the Eric France sponsorship deal, gives us plenty of chance to find a new headline sponsor if required.

if were concerned that our deal with eric france is going to end then dewsbury should be worried aswell as they are their main sponsor aswell. Just signed up for a new deal at rams stadium aswell so does that mean the new owners are into rugby aswell?

Think you will find Jonathan does sponsor other sports, more in truck racing, this want effect us has they do their own thing with sponsoring. So just look at this has Eric will sponsor us, and Jonathan will sponsor the team from the Dark side of Wakefield, no problem

If the post on totalrl.com is true he won't be sponsoring Cas but investing in them, which given his and Ferres' history makes sense. So no it won't affect our sponsorship for the next two years but may do after that if the new owners of EFS aren't as 'sport friendly'.
