| Ok, I know I’m not one of the most optimistic people regarding Trinity moving to a new stadium & I really don’t want to tempt fate, however.
Is the design shown in various dispatches set in stone?
The reason I ask is, I’ve been looking at Rotherham F.C’s new ground & was very impressed, both with the design, the build time & the cost.
I believe Salford’s new ground came in around £26m whereas Rotherham’s was around £20m & I know which I would like to sit in.

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.
Sharing First World problems so you can get it right first time.

| Yes, I saw the "New York Stadium" (stupid name) on TV the other day and it did look impressive. I suppose a bit like the Keepmoat. Would much prefer that style than Salford's (which so far I've only seen from the motorway) which looks like four separate stands and soulless.

Wouldn't be suprised if Sheff Eagles moved in.

| Dont want to sit in any new ground, I hope a good standing area can be included without a roof. I still think BV the best ground on a warm sunny day.

| I`ve only seen it on TV but the B2Net Stadium, home of Chesterfield FC looks really well. Completed in 2010 at a cost of £13million it holds 10,400, all seated. Has anyone visited it?

I believe that the design for NM contains standing terraces.

| Might get standing but wouldn't have thought we would go without a roof.
I agree about belle Vue. It is indeed lovely to stand in sun and have an unobstructed view but in the same way it is one of the things that other teams supporters look down on us for (or at least until the recent roofing work.

| I do like the look of the new Rotherham ground, I always think steep sided stadiums appear a lot more intimidating than shallow stands, such as the new Salford ground. Still beggars can not be choosers and we will have to be happy with whatever we get which from the initial designs I would be.
I know both ends were terraced but I would like to see this amended to at least one side. I’m sure the touchline terrace at Warrington and Leeds give the team an extra boost, not to mention the potential to influence the ref and it would no be of benefit to Trinity.

I would imagine it is set in stone. The amount of detail, right down to where you are sticking the trees, is part of the application process according to the person I spoke to last year who was involved in the design team early on. Not sure what latitude there is for change but cant imagine its great

Good
I'd like a roof- not only to keep the ever frequent rainy days but also to keep the noise in.

| Rotherhams New York Stadium is similar to Langtree park and also it didn't take very long to build.
I go to chesterfield quite a bit and also impressed with their ground but not big enough for SL, Salfords looks pretty naff from the views I've seen when passing, but will be going on our last game of the season (unless we make play offs ) and will give a more informed view from my spectator experience

| I'd like it to be a bowl shape and have the corners filled in from the off rather than fill them in if we need to

| It would be nice if we could deliver something a bit more inspiring than recent crop of fairly bland looking additions to the real estate of RL - I think that ship has sailed though, as any design changes would probably mean more delays.

| Agree jt would be good to have corners filled in at the start and not a later addition.
