Did anyone else see the news report this morning on BBC ( Look North ).
It talked about the Cas ground and that today is the announcement of planning persmission etc for their ground at Glasshoughton.
It then showed a shot of their stadium now, then the new one, then theirs again, but hang on a minute, the one they showed at the end was not theirs it was ours ( taken from on the balcony in the hospitality boxes ).
It then changed back again to their ground but how stupid is that? Unless they know something we don't

With all this mixing up of pictures and results etc, do you think that the Rfl have merged Wakey and Cas and forgot to tell us

Why shouldn't they get our money, they've got most of our players!

Fair point, on Sunday i there were Grix, Brough, Mason, Ferguson, Kirmond all players who have played for Wakey who are now at Huddersfield.

But if you look at it the other way, we had Johnson, Griffin, George and Korky who have all played for Huddeersfield.

As expected, the GH reserved matters application was approved this morning by the planning committee.

So they need to get Outline planning now on WR for a superstore development. Once that is sorted (which may be easy or may not!) then Opus will release funding to start the GH build (or a build somewhere!). So getting outline on WR could be sorted this year and therefore building start on GH early in 2012. I don't see it happening any quicker than this, but it could do... but it could take longer as well!
