Can someone help me get my head round this scenario.
When, not if we're taken over,Ted and his co-directors step down immediately, the new owner steps in,Ted locks the drinks cabinet, takes home his Marks' suits, locks the doors and hands over the keys to the new owner.
Assuming the new guys have no experience of running a Super league set up where do theY start? How do they organise the match day experience, stewarding, bars, ammount of programs, the general day to day running of a club,I for one wouldn't know where to start so how will the new owners play it?It seems a hell of a lot for the new people to take on,or will Ted stay on for a few months in an advisory role?

I presume they will get people in with relevant experience.

It will only bethere BOD who leave, the rest of the staff will still be around for as long as the new owners see fit.

They'll be a handover period i'd presume. Elston, Stephenson etc will still be around too remember.

All the staff will remain at the club it is only the owners who go so i would imagine the staff would carry on what they are doing in terms of general things such as matchday experience unless they are laid off by the administrator or the new owners.

As people have said, the staff will be transferred to the new company under TUPE regulations. It is normal to keep most of the staff (I would assume that maybe one or two may be asked to leave/not sign new contracts - if you get me!) and then over the first few months decide on whether you keep or possibly let some staff members go. The administrator tends to put all staff under legal notice anyway, just in case they have to liquidate the company, which does not look likely in this case. I suspect James and Francis would be safe and then have to prove themselves to the new owner and his BOD.

Without seeing the contracts and the legals involved then it is impossible to say. I would suspect that it depends on whether Eric France and others, pay in lump sum or instalments as well. I suspect that any new owner would look to keep the very good will of all existing sponsors if possible and therefore act and negotiate accordingly.

i can only tell you what happened at hull kr when we went into administration and hopefully i will give you a insight. the day following administration the BOD was removed instantly and the administrator signed cheques and had final say on everything there was redundancies at club as edward klempta our administrator as he cut cloth the make club a going concern then we went into a cva to pay debts and a new board was appointed the administrator stayed 6 month at least. so sadly not everyone may still remain after the BOD have gone and elstrom isnt safe at all. hope that helps

The shirt would remain the same i'd imagine. However the main sponsors could well change depending upon the new owners. Although i'd imagine they may well want to keep potential sponsors on board. But that's a long way down the line yet

I don't think Eric personally would pass the fit and proper test (given he can't be a company director) at the RFL, but Jonathan France may well do. I just don't think they are really in the running but could well be invited onto the new board or have some share holding by invitation. All this is pure speculation and nothing more though at this stage... it is just a waiting game.

I think you have that the wrong way round with Eric and Jonathon
