| Another great signing.
I see him replacing Ashurst. At 25 he has his best years ahead.

| What is exciting about this is he is another who has proven he is SL quality now, but also has so much more potential to realise.
He was one of the stand out juniors as a young lad and I don’t think he’s kicked on into the men’s game quite as well as many anticipated…yet.
If he comes to work hard and really strive to reach his potential at Trinity he’s a player who could well push for representative honours by the time he hangs up his boots.

Good to hear. When I’ve seen him he looks very much a second row player and has played well there. It seems the general opinion that he’s a second row.
With Trinity not short of props I suspect he will right second row mostly for us too.
Think it’s a good signing imo and one that will help us aim for playoffs.

| Not as glamorous as a Johnstone or a McMeeken, but he's just what every side needs. Tough and hardworking, I think we've got another good one here.

He needs to be careful.
Based on previous signings he's got an injury coming up.

You’ve added in a few you’d like to see but from what I can see currently we stand at the below.
Here you go:
Fullback
Jowitt
Rourke (rumoured)
Wing
Johnstone
Walmsley
Centre
Pratt
Hall
Croft
Booth
Halfback
Lino
Russell
Lawford
Truman (rumoured)
Props
Mckmeeken
Atoni
Rodwell
Uele
Vagana
Bain
Hooker
Doyle
Smith
Second row
Storton
Scott
Loose forward
Cozza
We only have 21 signed next season. Though I’m unsure about a couple of younger players.
It’s clear where the gaps are.
Second row, loose and hooked are 3 x positions we need strong signings in.
Personally I’d look at Bienek from London for a year or two as impact prop and play Bain at 13 with Pitts and Cozza.
I like Parcell and for 2 years think he would be a quality addition! If not I wouldn’t be against looking abroad for a quality 9. Judah Rhimbu PNG number 9 would be worth a look on edge of NRL.
Otherwise it’s clear we need a couple of edge forwards and I feel if we are to make a big signing it would be worth it here. Not sure there’s many about though.
As for wing - I think Booth can play there if required and if we sign Rourke he looks like he’d be an option too.
I’m expecting the club to announce Olpherts at some point but personally I don’t think he’s SL level and has at the tail end of his career found his place in this league. Whoever was on the left this season has scored tons from the space created from pivots. I like Olpherts but I’m sure he will get a contract at a good championship club like a few others should they wish.

| Why has everyone got Macmeeken down as a prop when he is a SR? He's played prop but I would personally call him a backrower.

Stockton good signing.'"
Because this year he’s begun the transition toward the front row and next year he’ll be a year older. He’s also been selected by England as a front rower and I’m sure he’ll want to continue to press his claim for the national team in the position that Wane sees him playing.

Because for the last season and a half he's played prop with great success. Including England

| Mike McMeeken has caught my eye as a prop in a way he never quite did in the second row.Massive signing.

I’ve seen him play prop and second row this season and he’s been best forward on the pitch in both.
I’m more than happy to see him in second row. He could probably fill the left second row spot with TJ on the edge.
Either way he’s a very good player in both.
