Not sure how true it is but there reports by certain journalists on social media we are signing rob butler from Warrington

Saw this earlier. Apparently we've signed him until the end of next season.

On paper that’s a very good signing..

He’s a big unit at 6’3’’ 17.5 stone.

He’s the right age.

He’s a prop.

He’s a point to prove and a long way from home so needs to get this right.

No guarantees but these signings tend to work well for us.

Getting a good nucleus of the London 2019 relegation side together, up to four now i think.

To be fair he was a promising young prop back then but has stagnated since. Hardly played a game since though thanks to a mixture of covid, injuries and non-selection so unsurprising. Hopefully it will pay off but a big ask to come in and make a major difference from the get go.

TBF this one looks more like it in that he’s physically right and that a top team fancied him.

Batye is not a bad player but is going through a rough patch. People are slagging him but when he was on loan people on here were begging to sign him.
