| I've gone through the rest of season fixtures, applied impartial thinking and came up with the following (winners in bold)Salford
Bulls - Widnes
HKR - Wakey
Leigh - Sheff
Wakey - Widnes
Fax - Leigh
HKR - Bulls
Salford - Sheff
Wakey - Fax
Sheff - HKR
Leigh - Bulls
Widnes - Salford
Bulls - Fax
HKR - Salford
Sheff - Wakey
Widnes - Leigh
That leaves it:
HKR - 6 wins
Salford - 5
Wakey - 5
Bulls - 4
Widnes - 4
Leigh - 3
Sheff - 1
Fax - 0
Means we are okay and the million pound game is between Bulls & Widnes.
Sorted

| I reckon Hull KR will beat Salford which will put Salford, Bradford and Widnes on the same points, for the million pound game.
And Bulls may well beat Leigh the way they are going, which would firmly put Widnes and Salford in that game.

| As a previous thread states, I think we need to ensure we win against Sheefield and Fax, AND put some points past them. Not ease up and improve the oints difference.
More than ever I think we need one win out of Hull KR and Widnes and obviously fancy the home game.
Regrettably the team that loses the CC final often recoils the follwoing week and I expect this will be KR.

| I have no idea who will beat who. I would much rather Wakey concentrate on one game at a time and not have to depend on results involving other clubs.
Years of following the Trin have made me not to expect the expected, the only thing that alters that opinion is Mr B Smith

Exactly! That is the crucial game. Lose that and we are in the £m game, win & we are top 3.

| The best thing about the current situation is that it is in our own hands.

| After this weekend games we have more questions. Widnes looked poor at home against a weakened Hull KR plus they struggled to beat Halifax. We all know that Salford are in a little turmoil but they should not lose to Bulls by such a margin. Which was the real Salford the one who played Leigh or the one who played Bradford' their next game will be interesting.
I went through the play off game against Featherstone and would not want to go through that again with the exception of the after match party. I believe we are now in a fortunate position because our last two games are against the weakest teams and I believe that provided we don't do anything stupid we should win these. This leaves us probably needing one win out of our two other games to finish third. We may not even need that depending if Salford continue to implode and Widnes form remains poor.
I guess the next few weeks will be interesting but if we survive our friends at the RFL will want to undertake a review because they would not want another Trinity at the end of next season. I would not want another Trinity next season, one as bad as this one was is quite enough.

I wouldn't say weak but they haven't been convincing so far.
They also have Bradford away, Us away, Salford at home then Leigh at home.
hardest run in of all teams IMO.

No way are they weak in this mini-league however, every team who they have to play (including ourselves) will be targeting them as a must win, either to avoid the play-off game or to finish in the top three.
When I initially saw the fixtures, I thought Widnes had got the best deal, I’m not so sure now.

Bradford beating Salford has certainly shake the tree and IF it was just a bad day at the office for Salford, we might get back to predictable results.
However, if they can replicate their form in their remaining fixtures, there will be a SL casualty.
Thankfully, we got an excellent win against them and this could be the most significant result of our "series".

The way it is working out, we may have the best deal. We finish with Fax & Sheff, both of which should be out of it by the time we play them. Still think points difference could come into this and we should be able to rack up points in our last two games.
I think Widnes could be in bother & they could quite easily end up in the £m game. We just need to ensure that we beat them on the 12th. Do that, and we will be okay.

Should all matches of the final round therefore kick off at the same time then?
