I am not a wakie fan but your fans not turning up is killing you how do you expect to compete on and off pitch it is like your club given up sad to see.

im a season ticket holder and feel I have been short changed by the club paid my 2oo and odd quid to be told were not bothered about first 23 games well im now a stay away fan that two games missed and im not missing it one very miffed ex fan of trin and rugby league bring on the rugby sevens at twickers in may beats magic weekend by a mile

James Webster is showing his inexperience at managing a club, I guess. It was entirely the wrong message to send out and is costly.

It is chicken and egg. Send out negative messages to a crowd that has had hope of a new start at Newmarket conned out of them, and the crowd is going to stay away. Because of that, the club has less money, so we get worse, so less people attend, etc. We've had bad patches before but this is probably the lowest ebb off the field, and we need something more than the passive aggression from the top, that it will all be our fault for not turning up. It is not a cheap hobby and a lot of people will weigh the cost against their actual enjoyment. If your customers don't turn up, look at what you can do to get them back rather than having a go for not turning up.

The crowds have wilted. That needs addressing. The interest is there, as we have shown in marginally better times. For some reason though, people are deciding not to go. We've had worse times than this but with bigger crowds.

The club are terrible at promoting themselves.

Classic post, you can't be @rsed, but my club is not sustainable on such small crowds. Imagine being in the 'league below' where there was NO form of promotion for about 10 years, get a grip !!!!

where we was at the back of the northstand sounded like there was 6k fans and I did notice that even though we did lose the game most fans stayed to acknowledged the effort
