| hard done by at 13 - 0 down they should of at least had a player bin in the second half for a professional foul, firstly Soliola and then Hauraki being turned 180 deg in the tackle that's after a dubious second try by St's in the first half for forward pass, as a neutral it can be frustrating to see inept refereeing like tonight, no wonder their heads went down

You mean like the imaginary forward pass given against saints that could of taken it to 16?

| We've been done for weeks to be honest. I didn't think we'd win again after wembley, but managed to limp home agains bulls and yourselves despite being second best in both games.

Joking aside they do genuinely look out on their feet.

| Cas look totally shot to me.
Powell has done a fantastic job with a team, which on paper looks pretty average, yet they’ve managed to reach the C.C final & were one game off the L.L.S .
But on the flip side, due to the play-off system as it is, the top sides are just happy to coast into the top eight & then they put the hammer down. Cas have punched above their weight due to a combination of great coaching, poor quality opposition (including us) & the top sides having scant regard for the regular season.
Even their cup exploits was basically compounded down to a fantastic win at Wigan.
The Cas fans can blame Child all they want, but really, forty one to nil!
If people want to see blatant referee bias I suggest they watch the Chooks v Cowboys .

so there's really no mention of tommy makinson being done out of a perfectly good try for a NON forward pass which could have taken us 4 points (or 6 points) even further then?...we had child a couple of weeks ago when we got caned by him against warrington..he did nothing but penalise us that night!...we wouldn't have won anyway as wire were far to good for us on the night!..swings and roundabouts comes to mind.

Think the point Snowie is trying to make, is the the 'forward pass' try wouldn't have made much difference if it had been given.
The damage had already been done prior to that.
But Child can't have had a bad game, Stevo said he had been 'superb'!

| There's no way Child was responsible for a 41 point capitulation; Cas were soft in defence and had absolutely nothing to offer in attack - they looked shot to bits after the first 10 minutes. Child did indeed make a couple of errors (aided and abetted by Mr Hicks on the line) but for me, it balanced out; Saints were, quite simply, light years better than Cas in every department.
As an aside - how good was James Roby? The lad's an absolute machine - showed that Clarke has a long way to go before he gets anywhere near him as the best 9 in SL, and possibly the world.

| I thought Child had an excellent game, he did not give any stupid holding down penalties, and I prefer a ref and his touch judges to blow up for a flat pass going forward than letting slightly forward passes go. I prefer them to give any benefit of doubt to the side defending. Basic skill of the game is to pass the ball backwards.

This ^^
Bang on B2K.
Looks like the roller coaster ride has come to a halt for 2014. Roll on next season.
