yes and you wouldn't believe how dodgy the timber top was, held on with a few brackets and screws

removal of a tree about 25ft high behind a fence which girth was about 14", it needs a bit of cleaning of wood now but there's plenty of time.

no painting was done today which is a bit of a shame as we hadn't enough staff to designate to the task

A cracking piece of club history there....some great players over the years will have sat on them!

Just another thought that popped into my head this morning while helping Snowie rip a massive tree out and generally doing a few bits of tidying up.....

If just 5% of the posters on this board who can't wait to come on after a match and slag off the coach and the lack of effort players have put in had turned up and helped this morning, then the amount of work that could have been done would have been unbelievable! Seems the lack of effort from fans is a far bit more than what the lads on the field are continually getting slated for....

I have a friend (yes i realise thats hard to believe) who would like to offer £50.


He won't/dosen't do facebook but its a geniune offer.

Well could not make it today as clearing the loft out of junk and boy there was some as we are to have solar panels fitted.I also think a few more turning up would show a big support for getting the club going forward and it just might spark some life into how things are going at the club.

there shouldn't be a guilt complex put on anyone, there no one more gullible than me until they pee me off, I will help anyone who I feel at the time I can help out and I have had a great feel of satisfaction and camaraderie with the most of the fans that I hadn't knew before taking this on,
its no different to when we used to do the walks to Huddersfield again meeting more new friends.

It was a shame that we hadn't a few more as the weather turned favourable and we could of got a few more licks of paint to smarten what we have

I'm proud of our ground and I'm willing just spend that bit more time in making it that be more smarter like a few more

Agree no one should feel guilty.People volunteer and do what they can when they can. As well as Snowie and the volunteers doing a sterling job at weekends there are volunteers regularly helping during the week and on match days.
