I keep checking the BBC website in hope of the announcement of Webster leaving us forced or through choice.

We haven't quite got it yet but this is encouraging:-

www.bbc.com/sport/0/rugby-league/32780760

We all need change and need it now. Come on Carter, please save our club.

Would you want to play for a coach who says things like this?

It's all very sad. The real issue with Wakey ican be summed up in two words - no money. Unfortunately you don't have a board with enough cash to inject funds. That's why you ended up recruiting players that had been cast offs from other clubs. Hall may occasionally do some magic, but more often he's a liability and always kicks off to exactly the same spot. Many of ypur other players have similar issues. On a perfect day they can work well, but they are very few and far between.

Webbo is a decent bloke. He never used to be a whinger and was pretty creative at scrum half all those years ago, plus he steered us to the NR Cup when we changing coaches. As I stated, all very sad.

The writing has been on the wall since the Crusaders elected to go down and saving you from the drop.

Wakey is still a good traditional club with a passionate fanbase, I wish you luck.

Agree to a degree - but - we have never had real money and we have definitely had players who were far more cast off than we have now. There is no excuse for the capitulation this season.

Webster is correct in what he says, however he's missing the point - the point being it's his job to put things right and he isn't or doesn't know how.

No but at the same time as a professional RL player you would surely want to put Leigh in their place and show the watching public and media that we are a SL team and prove the coach is wrong.

Unfortunately not enough of the players had the stomach for the fight when the game was going against us. In addition, Kirmond who got the captains job because he led by example is now setting a poor example for everyone to follow and he is not vocal at all when their stood behind the sticks after conceding. Add to that his body language is as bad as Websters and it is definitely time for a change of captain and possibly to leave him out of the team altogether for a longer period.

There's a young kid messing about down in London called Chris Annakin, I'm confident he can show Kirmond what needs doing given the chance, and at the same provide a bit of passion which is now clearly lacking in old Danny boy.

Sacked? He should be offering his resignation after that 2nd half shambles yesterday. Clearly doesn't have the ability to motivate or command the respect of the players.

I couldn't agree more. I was amazed Annakin wasn't in yesterday considering he has had a few games to get match fit but then again I was surprised Godinet and Lynne weren't in either.

I guess he won't do that because he gets a bigger payout if he is sacked rather than walking. Another example of taking this club down and draining what little financial resource we have left.

If he has to be sacked and we don't have the funds to do it. I wonder if Carter will have to let others go as cost cutting to ultimately fund Webster's release? Or will it be a case that sacking Webster will send us down a further financial spiral resulting in more job losses eventually.

Be a man Webster and just walk will you. You've got enough mates in the game that you'll get a gig somewhere. We only have one club and we don't want to lose it.

Therein lies the problem, because individually a lot of them are not better players but they damn well are a better TEAM.
Whose job is it to make the players into a TEAM??? Previous coaches have made a better TEAM out of much lesser players than we have now.

Sorry James, but your time should be up! Where's Alan Sugar when you need him.. eusa_shhh.gif "You're Fired!"

I find it frustrating that the only option, if Webbo doesn't resign, is to sack him and pay him shed loads of money - for what? Failing?

Ironically this comes just a few days after Cummins won his case for wrongful dismissal together with an interim payment of £20k due from BB.

None of this can be easy for anyone, but we need to find a solution somehow!

Yes he should, will he, I very much doubt it.

Would you just walk away from a decent payoff with no job prospects on the horizon?

We can all play at being the coach, with our various team selections, many of you do, but to me the makeup of the squad is not based on anything other than past reputations right now.

As for the structures, just look how Leigh attacked, dummy runners all over the shop, us, just a line across the park. Defensively they pushed up as a unit, us, just stood waiting for them.

Now, I don’t to profess to be a coach, but I’ve played & watched enough matches to say Webster doesn’t cut it.

It would seem that 99% of people on here pretty much despise Webster, and given the results/performances it's hardly surprising. I do find it a bit comical though as to what people expect a coach to say before a match, at half time and full time? People saying, what on Earth did he say at half time yesterday.....well i'm pretty sure it wasn't along the lines of, Danny you go and have a slappy handbag session, get binned, give a penalty away. Scruton, go and spoil your first half display by tackling everybody round the head and give them more ball and field position, big Ali you do the same, ohh and you can do the same Miller if you like....?!

I don't know just how accurate the thing is where on tv they ask 'what was said in the dressing room at half time?' I don't know whether it's a gimmick, or whether Bill Arthur, Damian Johnson as it was yesterday are actually allowed in there? I can't remember word for word what he exactly said, but it went along the lines of.....James Webster told his players that Leigh would come back at us hard, and we had to be ready for that etc, etc. I agree, there's just no 'bond' between Webster and the players, probably a lack of respect, no confidence in each other etc, but I think you have to feel slightly sorry for the guy because when he has tried to take some positives form those heavy defeats, like against Huddersfield saying we started well, he got slammed, yet before the Leigh match he got slammed for his negative comments, and saying they are probably a better team than we are, well they are as proved on grass. Do you want him to be honest, or full of bull s**t?! Sometimes you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I have to say well done to Leigh, I do like the style in which you play the game, we'll do you a swap, Webster for Rowley, sounds good to me......
