Good to see Lino back although it will upset EW and his one man Lino Out campaign.

| Expect this to be a dress rehearsal of our playoffs. Jowitt back to FB, Lino and Gale to partner in the halves. Doyle and Hood injured obviously but Powell reckons they’ll be back for the semi, so reckon Smith and Kay will spell at dummy half.
Big question for me is which two wingers are selected for the last three games. Harsh on any of the three to miss out, but that’s sport I guess. And if everyone’s fit - who makes the cut in that last bench spot, Kay or Vagana?

Kay. No question. Can cover several positions in case of injury, and has the heart of a lion. Vaganas time will come, but Kay is right player, right time and right place!

| Can’t argue with that. Would provide cover if any winger, half back or hooker goes down. Stops that from being a possible turning point in a big game.

| Think Kay will be on the bench and rotate at hooker with Harvey Smith

Sentiment aside it’d be Vagana every time for me.
You can’t and should t carry two hookers on bench or any player just in case of injury.
Vagana can cover SR or Prop. A lot of our success has been down to forward power. That’s needed more than ever in the finals.

I won’t be upset, and it’s barely a Lino out campaign, mate, and even if it was, reading a lot of views on other SM streams, I don’t think I’m the only one who isn’t convinced about him.
I’ll be honest, he needs to play, to prove some match fitness for the play offs

Agree, and to add Vagana has looked better each game he's played since returning from injury, he's a huge problem for defences and it usually takes 3/4 people to stop him or get him down. I really like Vagana, he seems to have a high ceiling for me as a player. he's athletic, good gas tank, has good size and is still growing, obviously has good DNA and he can spell at prop or do the 80 at SR.Out of all our overseas forwards, even though Rodwell and Uele have shone more this year, I think if Vagana hadn't been hurt for so long we'd be talking about him as well. I expect big things from him next season.

Kay’s versatility over the back line is priceless, tough decisions to be made by Powell. Great to have competition in our squad ,can only bring the best out of the players

| I’d be happy with either of them at ‘17’ to be honest. If all goes to plan, Vagana would be a nightmare for defenders after Rodwell and Uele have done a bit of extra damage. But if it doesn’t go to plan and any of our players who probably aren’t 100% (McGilvary, Lino, Gale, Hood) pull up, Kay stops that being the story of the game.
One other possibility is Walmsley. McGilvary and Olpherts start, Walmsley provides cover (straight onto the wing or FB, or allows Max to push up into the halves if Gale or Lino are knackered). But again, might not play at all and that would be a waste of a spot.
