| I've got three pie eater fans coming over on Saturday and staying in Barnsley to sample the hospitable atmosphere that we offer on an evening out .....
I'm hoping they get so p*ssed that they oversleep and miss the game to save a repeat of last weeks "mishap"

| Looking at this one, it should be a home win.
Hull beat Wigan, we beat Hull so, Trinity all the way !!
That is how it works, isn't it ?
Sadly, although there will be a response of sorts after last week, it's hard to see past a fairly comfortable Wigan victory

| I’m very nervous about this fixture.
I hope we are not investing all our efforts into a response to last week.
If we win fantastic but it will take a huge effort to turn them over and with a 5 day turn around to what is a season defining game the following week I’m hoping we can keep all the key players fresh and fit for the Magic round.

Don't agree, maybe for Saints or Wigan but not for us. We have to attempt to play every game to win, as much in the hope of catching a team off guard as anything else. Daft as it sounds we've nothing to lose against Wigan, so no nerves. Likewise professional though Wigan are at present they are not the team of the early 90's, and even they had lapses. Best will in the world when you play a team that's just been royally stuffed there is a tendency to be complacent.
Toulouse on the other hand will be totally geared up, if we don't win against Wigan we will be as nervy as hell and could easily blow it. Especially as the crowd will undoubtedly back Toulouse. To me winning against Wigan is every bit as valuable as beating Toulouse as IMO one leads to the other.
I don't believe you can coast a RL game, nor do I believe taking it easy stops injuries or fatigue. I'd rather our key players go to Magic with a rousing effort against Wigan, win or lose in their minds than spend this weekend skulking on the side lines.

| The only way I can see us getting close to Wigan is if They looked at our feeble effort last week and decide the can rest quite a lot of their players. However Peet seems a very proffesional coach. I expect him to put out his best side and ensure they play at their best. Best I am hoping for is a valiant fight with plenty of effort

| Got to say that Sky Bet only giving us a 12 point start think a great many people will fancy that and pile on Wigan

| I think we'll see a much better affort but we won't get anywhere near Wigan. I'd also be tempted to leave a few out with one eye on the week after. Give guys like Jowitt, Walker, Aydin etc a run out, hardly novices but guys that have been on the fringes. Give them a chance to claim a regular spot.

Indeed. Also I'm guessing they play Saints at Magic, this is always a huge game so a few might take their eyes off the ball.
Clutching at straws I know, but hey it's happened before. This is when you find out whether WP is a lucky coach

Every win is extremely valuable I agree with that but I just feel it will take a big effort to push Wigan and I worry if we do what we will have in the tank for the Toulouse game which really is our cup final.
Toulouse have KR at home they will be looking to win that I expect. Huge shot in the arm for us if they don’t, as every week they don’t win the challenge for them gets significantly harder.
I’m not saying wave the white flag vs Wigan but we on my opinion have to be approaching the Toulouse game as if it is a final and you only need to see how teams tend to deliberately rotate squads before the Challenge Cup to keep their best players fresh.

| Personally I never want to see Gaskell and Minns again ! I felt sorry for Minns Sunday …. He was so out of his depth it was awful to watch …. and it’s not the first time ! Jowitt has to play in front of Gaskell at FB ! Last Sunday we had the slowest back line I’ve ever seen … just shocking ! It didn’t matter if Salford were down on forwards they didn’t need them ! I shudder to think of Field /French running at Minns /Lineham /Gaskell . Hopefully Hall is back to help the situation !
