I Dont really care


To Mr Ted Richardson & Family thank you for all the time , effort , energy and your own resources (even when the chips have really been down ) that you have put into this once giant club .

Its easy for the terraces to say a magic mysterious sheik with zillions of billions wants to put money into club but they never quite shouted loud enough or got off the pot when it counted.

Sir the peeps of Wakefield owe you a great deal of gratitude.

Not alone just feels that way.

Not alone.

Please don't include me in this topic, This is NOT the view of all the supporters of the mighty Trin.
I don't believe for one second that Ted has anything other than the best interests of his family at heart,
They've all had a good living out of the club, at the expense of this once great club.
The club that they have brought to it's knees.
No Sympathy whatsoever for Ted and his ilk.
Good Riddance.

No one was, why the need to post on it, there are dozens of threads slagging Ted that you could post on

Some would say that the club was on it's belly when Ted stepped in. He managed to get it to gradually stand upright and leap up and down for a short period. Then, unfortunately, he could not prevent it from staggering around a bit before dropping onto it's back! The fact he was found going through it's pockets whilst laid out was a sad ending.

I don't know the facts regarding this matter and cetainly have read none on here that makes me move away from my defalt position of innocent till proven guilty.

I too reserve my right to be greatful for the efforts of the board and TR over the past 10 years. Im happier reserving my dignity in admitting I was wrong after, and if, the facts emerge than prove me wrong. Its a whole lot more civilised position than jumping on the groundless, ugly judgemental Richardson baiting feast that many on these boards have engaged in.

Until it's proven otherwise I will believe he did everything he could to promote Trinity, even if some of his efforts may have been misguided or incompetent. I don't know the bloke, and bear him no malice.

Ted has received a lot of critism and worse from the fans,most of it not justified and a lot of so called fans have behaved disgracefully, to such an extent that some potential investors have been put off investing in our club.

Where and what has been this disgraceful behaviour that has put these investors off?

Exactly. Whilst Ted has probably done his best over the years with limited resources he has been guily of one thing, believing he is Wakefield Trinity. The length of time he has been at the helm resulted in complacency (which we can all be guilty of whether it be business or personal). This complacency though has ultimately brought down his downfall with is what can only be called very un-transparent and ill conceived dealings with regards to the ground.
The Arthur Daley style management of WTW should have come to an end many years ago. The administration has proved one thing, there are investors there willing to invest in the club but there was always one common denominator stopping this.
It's a shame that Ted has to cop the rap in such a public way. But you reap what you sow.

Ted has got more out of the club than we have out of him defo ! Progress ------------- . Kears appointment was the highlight for me and Solomona !

whenever I have dealt with Ted I have found him to be difficult, and he has, on occasion and probably by accident (on his part) spoiled a couple of ptentially lucrative relationships with my personal clients. I have struggled at times with his outlook on life, his choice of people in senior Trinity positions. His failure to attracct positive business and other relationships for and on behalf of the club.

That said, I shall be eternally grateful to him and Brian Eccles who came into the club at a time of dire need... he has personally spent a considerable amount of time and energy in doing his best, and if someone does their best, thats all you can ask of them!

Ted; you go with my gratitude as a lifetime trinity fan and I hope your future is happy and prosperous...
