Many thanks once again for the stories provided - especially jonh for the Wigan notes - it's always good to have someone to poke fun at, errrmmm, offer an alternative perspective!
Anyway - feast yourselves on this one, there's plenty of stories to be told about these games - good and bad.
So which games stand out - last years at the goatfarm? The one which led to Smith leaving? Wassa's celebrations? Go on, you know you want to!!

I remember sitting in the car hearing his interview after this match. He said there was nothing he could do about it. Which was true, and why he had to go, but it was very strange to hear someone admit they were incapable of doing their job live on the radio.

| Hudds memories of the last 10 years are either really really good or really really bad!!! No inbetween.
Last years win has to rate as the best memory for me, loads of Trin fans shouting themselves ho seeing us win in a very close tense match.
The celebrations after that game went on well into the night (and the early hours of the morning)
Fantastic day

| For me its got to be the game over Easter (cant remember whether it was year before last or year before), we were on a roll and picking up support. We took a massive following, probably in the region of 3-4 thousand, the atmosphere before the game was great the players came out to warm up in front of a standng ovation. What happened? We got hammered! Wakefield why do you pick me up then let me down as they say in the song! Think it was the game where we rushed Rooney back in to the starting line up wen he quite clearly wasn't fit.

That has to be one of the lowest points watching Trin!
So much expectation and such a bad defeat. Yep was Rooney's return, too soon definitely.

To be fair he was the last person in the universe to realise it.
My favourite moment at Hudds was getting in as a student using a mates NUS card best bit being he's an Albanian!

Yes just as I remember it was one hell of an atmosphere before we started getting hammered,
Tony Smith's last game in charge is a game I will never forget. A blistering hot day we played them off the park in the first half. Off they went to a standing ovation. And then that second half. I have never while watching Wakefield felt such a combination of elation and desperation in the space of 40 Min's. The sad thing was from the moment they scored their first try after the break it was like watching a repeat of a horror film that you had seen before but unfortunately you were unable to switch off. Such was Wakefield's form of that season every Wakefield fan knew who the winner was going to be the moment Hudds scored their first try.
On walking out of the ground the reality of the situation set in. Other results had gone against us and for the first time that season we were staring relegation straight in the face. I remember the radio interview by Smith. It was clear he was on his way.
I also remember the storming run by Korki at their place from what must have been the half way line (top 6 season). The last home game of that season also saw us beating them narrowly at BV.

| yeah i agree
what is the difference between
(a) me having sex with the entirity of the pussycats dolls at the half time break at bv when wakefield are beating huddersfield?
(b)and us holding out to the end to win?
frankly option a has a slightly larger chance,
